  1. Merry Christmas....Happy Holidays from Wheatland and Family God's richest blessings to you all!
  2. It's me again. Maybe this is too far back. Perhaps some 6th Corps will remember. I'll check back later...we have 2 futsal and 2 bball games tomorrow.
  3. Remember when we were told by VPW that all the persons who were on Time Magazine's cover for Person of the Year were born again of the wrong seed? Well, we just watched CNN's special on the 2006 Person of the Year for Time Magazine, and guess what? They decided to make it...."YOU." The cover has a computer screen made out of mylar, which is reflective, so when a person looks at the cover, he/she sees him/herself ! Now does this mean that we are all born again of the wrong seed?
  4. Thanks, Waysider. I have been sampling these treats for a couple of months, and they are healing, though highly addictive. :)
  5. Cognitive dissonance is also believed to be an element required for creative thinking and problem solving. The intensity, and the amount of time that a person is able to tolerate this cognitive dissonance is supposed to directly correlate with the degree of creativity that a person possesses....manifests....hmmm.....both loaded words...how about: uses. It is this uncomfortable feeling of cognitive dissonance that leads some to jump to one conclusion or another, or to accept one opinion over another, without completely analyzing all the possibilities, or the alternatives. We are better able to tolerate smooth, not edgy thoughts or thinking. TWI discouraged this edgy thinking. They were there to grind away the sharp edges of our curiosity, and to polish off our rough questions.
  6. Okay, how about the Advances we had. We never had Retreats. We were never to have a time of reverie, or reflection when we were in the Word. Everything about our lives, our ministries, were to advance... maybe if we retreated, re-treated, re=again, and treated, ourselves, we would have been able to have moved forward with God in a more spiritually saavy way. But, we never really thought about treating ourselves in a quiet spiritual way; we were too busy advancing.
