I have great news to report. My daughter's lupus test came back Negative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God!!!!!!!!!! She is also feeling better and her fever's seemed to be gone. We are thrilled. We don't know what she had but we are just thrilled that she is finally feeling better. She still has some health issues but the fever is gone.

I want to thank everyone for all of their prayers. It means more than you all know.

Yesterday we got a call from the doctor to tell us to come in for more tests. Evidently one of the tests showed a possible sign of Lupus, but the doctor says that this test comes in at false postive very frequently. In another week, we should know whether she has that or not.

I just wanted to give you the update. We are still waiting on test results. I guess it will take another day or two. My daughter has had a lower fever the last two days. I'm praying that this is a sign of improvement that is coming. We still don't know what she has but right now I just want her to be healed and to gain back the weight that she has lost. She lost 10 pounds and she is not a very big girl. I appreciate how all of you have been hanging in there with your prayers.

Well everyone,

We had to go to the emergency room the other night because my daughter has rapid heartrate and difficulty breathing. They found out that she has acid reflux and mitral valve prolapse. This explains upset stomach but does not explain fever. They are running every test imaginable. Her heart has not slowed down yet and we have to meet with the Dr. on Tues. about that. The mystery still continues.

We got the results of the Cat scan yesterday, and they said nothing is wrong with her sinus. The specialist wants me to take her back to my regular doctor and start all over again trying to figure out what's wrong. She has had a fever for over three and a half months post nasal drip(alot) headache and nausea. She is getting worse and no one seems to know what's happening. Please continue to pray.

My daughter is going in for a cat scan today. It will take a couple of days to get the results.

UPDATE

I took my daughter to a specialist yesterday. He thinks that she has developed scar tissue in her sinus area that is preventing the infection from leaving. He put her on steroids and more antibiotics. If this does not work, she may need surgery. We do not have insurance and the bills are mounting. I do not want her to have to go through surgery. Please continue to pray for her healing. She is very tired and discouraged.

thanks for asking. She is no better. We have been to doctor alot!!!! They seem to think it is a viral infection because antibiotics do not help. They said that we will have to wait it out. We have been trying something called a "Neti Pot". It is used to clean out the sinus area with salt water. So far, we have not seen a marked improvement. I would love everyone to keep praying. My daughter is very frustrated as I am, but God is still able to heal.

I thought that I would give you an update. My daughter still has a fever and it is difficult for her to eat still. We are almost out of antibiotic and I need to call the doctor back. She is real down and is starting to think that she'll never be better. She needs continued prayer. Thanks everyone.

Thanks for your continued prayers. We got back from the doctor this afternoon. We found out through x-rays that my daughter has a massive and deep infection in her sinus cavity. It didn't show up on the blood work because they said it had been there for quite a long time.. They said it could have been there for months without us knowing it. My daughter has bad allergies all year and the doctors originally thought that was the problem. They said it will take a long time to heal, but I know that God is good and I'm expecting a quicker recovery than they forecast. Thanks all for your continued prayers.

My daughter has had a fever and upset stomach for 5 weeks. We have run all kinds of tests and still don't know what is causing it. Could you all please pray for her to be healed. Thanks everyone.

The kicker for me was after pop, and a host of other things. Leadership were given the choice of "who do you stand with?" Then shortly after, Loy sent out his 10:30 fellowship tape that was so filled with pride and ego that after I heard it I was physically ill. I realized that no changes will be made and IMHO Lxx had gone to the dark side. There was so many things before that, that made me want to leave, but I kept holding out for a possible change. I never liked Lxx and always wondered why he was chosen, but I just kept on hoping that it would turn out great. It seemed like we were being more controlled, and our freedoms were being ripped from us.

Someone has e-mailed me and I'm getting ready to send it out, so it's no longer available.

I got out of TWI in 1989 and I was thankful to be out. I became involved in an ex-way group and suffered even more deep hurt. I got out of the ex-way group a few years ago and I'm glad to be out of both groups. That's why my name is Gladtobeout.

Yes, I have taken that class as well as be involved in a Geer group.

I'm no longer involved. My experience was that it turned into another TWI group. There was a lot of screaming and judging. IMPO My family got out a while back and got out of TWI a few years before that.

That is why my name is gladtobeout.

The class taught basically the same info. as PFAL. It is in a format that is hard to receive because of its dryness.

Thanks for your sharing. It was hard for me to accept the information that I heard here and on Waydale. I met with someone who was there and had first hand knowledge. This person was able to confirm these seemingly wild accusations. It was a ruuuuuuude awakening. I fell into depression and felt guilty for being part of a group that could do such things. It took me about two years just to start to see a little light.

I'm fine now and am still thankful for all the good that I learned and I feel that this site may help many people get out of a still very troubled situation. I'm very thankful for EXIE and the other brave souls who shared their stories. We still have a lot of work to do and people to rescue.

They should take down the sign that says, "You are welcome at The Way."

The new sign should read, "Unless you want to agree with us about everything, you are not welcome here."

They probably think that you are not spiritually mature enough to handle any information. It seems that many years ago that is how they handled any question that they didn't want to answer.

Maybe they know it is all screwed up but they don't want to admit this to anyone. They are too filled with fear to leave. Either way it is truly sad. :(
