  1. Johnny Lingo I will never forget the time when you came over to my house with some vacummed packed salmon. We had that, crackers, cheese, and some local beer. I bliss on that moment. I remember the flavor 25 years later.

  2. I recall a class we had in residence. It was called the mucous method. It was a person I never met before in the Way or there after, I think she was invited to teach the subject.

She explained how at different times of a month a woman will have a mucous discharge at different times of the month and there are only certain days where her acidity mucous will accomadate boy sperms. At other times of the months it will accomadate female sperms.

I do not know a lot about this subject whether yea or ney.

I do know we tried this technique and my first born was a boy which we wanted and after that the girls came. The last one I tease about a unplanned child just to keep her in line.

Does anyone out there remember this class?

  3. My people, eat your heart out. We are starting our Spring here. I am going down to the nursery to get some new tomatoe plants. You are going into fall. How sad!!!

  4. Kay S was in our Corps why or where was she in Virginia at that time I do not recall. But I became friends with her afterwards. THat is Joe Harmon on my left. Richard from Illinois was in that pic. The rest I can't see well in the picture. I once went and visited Richard and he worked at a brewery and said he could have samples at his break and I thought what a job when I was like 25 years of age. Never heard from him since that time, how sad.

  5. I believe the Way C of Emporia was purchased by the teachers of america association. I wonder if our names are still on the those wooden walls in the dome above Anderson Library or if they white washed the walls.

  6. I have always been a fan and notice it when it is worn is musk. My favorite is white shoulders. Every label IMO should say that the perfume you don yourself with should not ANNOUNCE your arrival but be subltle. Why girls bathe themselves with perfumes is beyond me when a simple bath would suffice with wisp of the perfume they want to be noticed by.

  7. mmmm.... We do have very good tomato cooks here in northern New England...

Here in Australia just about any restaurant you have breakfast at servers fried tomatos. They are mushy but I look forward to eating them now when I am out having breakfast.

  8. wdsand works, I remember your wedding. I went to the party after you guys were wedded and remember meeting your dad. Great reception and still filled honored you guys would have me there. Oh, was I in the picture?

  9. Johnny when are you going to come over like that time you did and have some vaccummed packed cooked salmon, cheese and a cold one. The Australian salmon hear does not match that Alaskan smoked salmon we had at my house in flavor and all.

  10. Simon Zelotes, I will be over on the 11th of May if you want to hook up. I hope to stop in Norman to see if I can hook up with Niki, but if I cant I can't

  11. Mark, upon my first thought of your venture. My first thought was Peter J. Wade and then I read what you wrote. I think this is a worthy goal you are seeking and good on ya! Peter just lives over in Adelaide and I have been recieving his emails for some time now. Maybe contact him as he may be able more than myself to help you in your endeavours.

  12. Naw, unforturnately, I buy the store type and have a few cloves when the desire is there. I never got into the knack of preserving foods. My cooking skills is limited to certain dishes I crave. My wife years ago took a nutrition class and cooks with those ideas and since I have lived here in Australia for the last two years, I feel physically better. Garlic is our main ingrediant for all cooking. No, we are not Lebanese either. Shes a pome and I am an Okie.

  13. WORDWOLF, I agree. The more I read here the more I learn I aint seen nothing yet.

The novel unfolds. Unfortunately we were in this novel.

With the cover up stuff. This may the tip of the iceberg, namely we are only seeing 10% of the magnitude of coverup.

    Stay tuned.

  14. GS, is a good place to come and talk of all our "journeys" we experienced throughout the way so we don't sit around the rest of lives thinking Hey was what that whirlwind in our youth.

EWO thanks for sharing this story again as there was much slid under the carpet to keep THEIR image.

  15. EWO,

after seeing why you are so screwed up, (with the Way according to the authority we were under with the rest of us). I now see why I am screwed up. I think your story is quite explicit and now I see at what I saw when I was young, just wanting to serve GOD as we all did as Corps. What the freak.

    Wow .

Bravo for your boldness to share your experience!

Eye witness accounts are always accepted here at GS as we all relate.

    Please go on.

  16. BELLE, you were a bad date for that night but hey we learn. On the learning curve, where were you.

I love pickled garlic , which I often religiously partake in when the desire is there.

My pome (prisoner of mother Elizabeth) wife cooks with it in the majority of meals.

The best way with spices is to have a morsel/pestal and grind up all spices at the moment of cooking. Yes, it is laborious but there isn't anything like a morsel/pestal to release all of the god-given flavors contained in that spice as day and night offfers to a canned thingy. I Love Garlic!

And yes it is effective for chiggers and mosquitoes as yore goes.

It does have a side effect around your friends but hey once my Uncle told me that bad breath was better than no breath at all.
