  1. Hello all-

I know I haven't been here in a long while,

my life has been just chaotic for about a zillion reasons.

First-Miss Mira was born on March 3, 2003 and is as perfect as can be. She is an amazing child, at 6 weeks is rolling over from stomach to back and is mad when she can't do it again!

The big news is about Tim though! He has been off chemo since mid February, and has had a mri, cat scan, and a bone marrow done. He is absolutely 100% free of any sign of cancer! His oncologist is amazed, (he shouldn't be!) and pleased as well. We found out not too long ago that Tim's cancer was grade 4 lymphoma the same grade and location Michael Landon's was. Outlook very very grim and success few and far between. Tim has to go to see Dr. P every six weeks or so for about a year and then if no further sign of the cancer is found, he will 'officially' decree that Tim is a cancer survivor!

We have had some very serious legal troubles regarding my son Matt, and even those have been resolved in such a way that it could not work any better for Matt, Melissa and Mira.

Hope everyone is well and blessed all over the place!

  2. Matt came home for a minute and told us he is taking care of the situation. It's not going to be as bad as he thought and even better when he does what is necessary.

On the other hand another person is roiling up the situation. She is a professional relationship saboteur, (her own relationships as well as others. She tried to drive a wedge between Tim and I), and she needs to back off or she'll be Chicken Little and the sky will be literally falling on her head! Thanks for the lifting!

    Love Kay

  3. Things with Matt aren't getting any better and some things have gotten worse. I continue to lift Matt and the situation and thank all of you for doing the same. The stress is getting nearly unbearable and I seem to be sticking together with baling wire and chewing gum. I know who my thorn in the flesh is and I'm sick of it!

  4. The situation still hasn't resolved itself. Matt is letting fear run the situation and Melissa isn't helping any. They aren't talking to us either. I want him to get his head out of his behind and get a grip! Lift away because I think we will need a miracle of Biblical magnitude! God's taking care of us tho in some very bizarre and unforseeable ways! Thanks for lifting us-I'll keep ya posted!

  5. Hi Guys

My son Matt needs lifting right this minute. Due to a clerical error things are going to be rough the next few days. Lift that the court sees the error and fixes it immediately!

More as situation develops! Only good!

  6. Hi Kit, many thanks! It makes a real difference knowing there are those of you out there praying with us! We're all in this life together so?

We got a letter before Christmas and it said Social Security wouldn't be even reviewing Tim's case till after the 31st of Jan. We called the Janesville office, and they told Tim that I am elligible for more money since he doesn't have any income after this last check from the disability company from work. I went from $540 to $578, plus a small stipend from WI of $83. I am elligible for Medicare and Medicaid, so all my medical bills will be paid from now on. Tim has to apply for the state funded insurance but in 30 months he will be elligible for Medicare. Things will be snug for a while, but God has moved a few molehills for us!

    Love, Kay

  7. Hi all,

Here's an update on Tim. He had chemo today but his red blood cells are very very low which is making him so tired. They did not give him the Vincristine and we have to schedule a neuro consult to evaluate his mobility due to the nerve damage from the Vincristine.

One character flaw Dr. P has is that he doesn't volunteer information unless asked a direct question! He said that Tim had two treatments left in November, and recanted that notion last month. He is now non-committal when Tim tries to press him for information on the number of treatments left.

Finances need some help too. Social Security is dragging their feet and Tim's last check from the disability company comes next week and then we have just my income, ($540). It's going to be exciting!

    Thanks--Kay

  8. Hey Al! Great news! Kit--yeah I know--I tend to lean to my own understanding at times! But???

It's been a great holiday--we are having an open house on New Year's Eve. Tim wanted to have it because we have had so many people help us through this rotten time.

Thanks for everyone lifting us up! Now my son Matt has gone around the twist and is being a jerk. Lift him too!

    Lifting all of you!

    Love, Kay

  9. We don't have to move! The house we live in is a side by side duplex, and both sides are mirror images of each other. The other side is soon to be vacant, and the owner of the real estate company that manages the property told Tim that our contact with the public is going to be absolutely minimum, and that the house is going to be sold as an income property only, and that we will be able to stay here as long as we want!

    God has done it again!

(why do I let myself get all het up about stuff that I should just let go of?)

    Love, Kay

  10. We need prayers! Not just for Tim's cancer, but we just found out that we are going to have to move very soon, as our house is for sale, and is going to be shown often. The house needs alot of work and the owner wants to unload it. They even did a showing without notice, and the house was a wreck! I am so upset!

Also-money...or lack of it, Social Security is dragging their feet, they aren't even starting to investigate whether Tim is ELLIGIBLE for Disability payments till after January 31. Tim's disability payments from his job end on January 6th. Tim's oncologist can't help, this isn't something he can tell them and they will accept it.

    So..

We have to move, and the finances to move need to show up from somewhere.

I'm not doing well, I'm upset and I am trusting God to show me the direction I need to go.

    Love Kay

  11. Today was supposed to be Tim's last chemo treatment.

    It isn't.

He has two more to go, then a cat scan.

He's off the Rituxan, which is causing major nerve damage in feet, hands and face.

He needs lifting because his blood pressure is low and he is having trouble with orthostatic hypotension. He's very dizzy--the room swims when he moves his head too quickly.

    He's low...emotionally...me too.

Thought we were over the bend.

    Thanks for the prayers!

    Love,

    Kay
