  1.

You tell um potato - I LIKE your attitude - I was like that in the Corps too when they wanted me to work for free instead of taking care of my family, laundry, dishes, meals, spending time with my kid, retemories LOL

you know, my car is an f-ing mess. I have 2 high energy kids and lots of dang to deal with, and my car is full of trash and it smells bad. I clean it out every couple of months. WHAT FREEDOM! THANK GOD! F U ALL YOU ANAL RETENTIVE PERSONALITY DISORDERED FREAKS WHO WASTED MY TIME OVER TRIVIALITIES LIKE DIRT IN MY CAR! WHO CARES ANYWAY!

it's my car. don't ride in it if you don't like it.

  2. :who_me: I must have gotten out before all the ego stuff happened. We had nametags in 4th Corps but they were just to let people on Sunday night know who we were and what our names were. It seemed innocent enough then.
  3. :eusa_clap: Well!!! Now that we know a little bit more about you Sudo - hahahah

Who loves it? Who hates it? Who's waiting for the chickens? I think Garth is behind it all.

  4. ex, what is the status on your bird? My brother in law's bird flew out the door too and he was worried sick. A week later he came home all by himself. I'm still praying. Please let us know.

  5. I hope this clears up your question of, "why on earth would you want to take someone to see CM at Emporia?"

    1. Because the 3 couples specifically ask me to take them to talk to Craig.

    2. Up until that incident I had never heard Craig scream, rant or rave at anyone.

This was a long period of time after I left HDQ. When I was in the Corps no leader ever screamed at me when I did things they didn't like. For a long time CM and the leaders were not like that.

My first year of Corps was the pilot program for allowing children in the Corps. The Corps leadership were young, not married and none of them had children. Because of this they were clueless as to what to do for or with the children. Because I would not compromise and I knew where my priorities were I did what I knew was right for my son.

They didn't like that and would call a meeting and tell me what they wanted me to do. Both times leadership discussed what I should do and then ask me what I thought. I would tell them I was going to do what was best for my son and if they didn't like it to kick me out. Of course they never did and the next year my Corps assignment was the Study and Activities Coordinator for the children.

But, this period of time was before CM started screaming, ranting and raving at people. And I was before the accusations, interrogations and mark and avoid period of time. They hadn't started doing that stuff before I left. When I took the 3 couples to talk to Craig I had no idea he was the insane person he had become, would scream at me or act like he did.

And my statement, "They were both sick, twisted, sad, dark souls" is in hindsight after everything happened and I found out the lies that were told about me. Yes, leadership was really screwed up but most people went along with them. I did not so I left.

  6. Hi Doug and welcome. We tried different churches but it didn't work for us so we have fellowship in our home with a group of people.

Right now we are studying Galatians and learning that there are 5 Hebrew words for "law" that were translated into one English word "LAW", which has caused great confusion in understanding Galatians. We are also studying about the Northern and Southern Kingdoms, who the lost tribes of Israel are and the return of Israel. And we are doing a study on the Covenants. The "Law", Kingdoms, lost tribes and covenants all fit togethere in the end days.

I wish you were here to study with us - everyone brings food and we have a great time studying together all day long. But different people have different needs so don't have any blinders on and let God take you where it will be good for you. It's nice to have you here.

  8. Hmmm, lets see: I wasn't ALWAYS screamed at - their abuse was in other ways too....

I got in trouble for wanting to meet my son when he got off the school bus. The study hall coordinator stood in my way so I couldn't leave study hall . I told him he'd have to physically detain me to keep me there and if he laid a hand on me I'd sue his a**. He stepped aside.

I got in trouble for leaving evening meetings to go check on my son who was in the trailer all by himself. The idiots at HDQ thought kids could raise themselves.

I got in trouble when I stuck up for the kids who were breaking into the snack bar to get food in the evenings. The kids were starving to death in the evenings because CM wouldn't allow any food in the trailers for the kids. After that I got a stove for my trailer so I could fix him meals at night and kept snacks in the trailer for him. When I got in trouble for it I just took the "talking to" and did what I wanted. I know they knew it was there cause they did inspections but they never said anything to me about it ever again .

Oh, where were all the adults in the evenings??? Why we all were in classes getting spiritual while the kids were left in the trailers all by themselves. After a while I quit going to the teachings in the evenings and would stay "at home" with my son. I did go to Corps night on Tuesday evenings though.

And yes, I was called into 2 meetings, each an hour long, and got raked over the coals big time for that. When after about an hour they asked me if I had anything to say, I literally told them, "If you don't like it then kick my a** out of the Corp" and left. My husband had a fit and would say, "Just do what they tell you to do". But I wouldn't cause you can't let a kid alone for 4 years and expect them to be ok!!!! Anyway, they never did kick me out. They just liked to bully people.

I got in trouble when I refused to go to a Tuesday night Corps meeting because my son was sick. I politely asked my TL to leave when they were sent to talk me into going to the meeting. I told the TL God called me to be a parent before He called me into the Corps. When they wouldn't leave I pushed them out the door and they fell down the steps. How was I supposed to know they couldn't levitate!!! Uh, and yes, I was called into a meeting then too. I gave them the standard reply.

I got in trouble for NEVER volunteering to mow the grass. Told them other people w/o kids could volunteer and that I had a son to raise.

I got in trouble when I went to work on staff and expected and demanded a paycheck. Silly girl that I was. I never did get one and was told I had a bad attitude because I wouldn't work on the Kipp Farm from sunup to sundown AND do the housework, cooking, cleaning, laundry too. The clincher was when Mrs VPW came to me and told me I had to work the farm, work the house AND on top of that start cleaning all the single mens rooms upstairs at the Kipp Farm. When I refused to do that VPW called me in his office and told me he was disappointed in me and "I thought you had what it took but I guess I was wrong". I rolled my eyes and said, "whatever".

The "sexual" liberty" had already permeated the Corps by that time. People think the "sexual revolution" in the corps started around the 6th Corps but it didn't. It was going full force as early as the 4th Corps - that is not 2nd hand knowledge. I heard the message from someone who said VPW told her and didn't believe it and went straight to VPW cause I was so horrified by it. But, yep, as sure as shootin he said it was OK and proceeded to tell me and I quote, "touching a man's peepe is the same thing as touching his arm" and alot of other stupid stuff. It was so ridiculous.

I left HDQ and my husband. They were both sick, twisted, sad, dark souls. He and TWI told all kinds of lies about me when I left.

After I left HDQ I also got in trouble when I took 3 couples to see CM at Emporia. Why, because the area they were from was openly teaching the "sexual liberty we had in Christ". And being practiced liberally in the fellowships and Way Home in their area. CM was spitting in my face when he told me I was just trying to cause division in leadership. I looked at him and told him I didn't think he needed any help, that leadership was doing a fine d*mn job of that all by themselves.

There were many other times too but these are just the ones I remember the most. I was at HDQ for 6 years altogether. I worked 2 years staff and was in the Corps 4 years. And in spite of TWI I learned a lot of wonderful things from God in those years and had many wonderful times and met some amazing people who changed my life. I'm thankful.

  9. Wow, I didn't know it really bugged people when others don't speak or spell correctly. I have 8 grandchildren from the ages of 4 to 20. I MySpace, email and IM them and I'm lucky if I even understand what they are saying sometimes. I have to write back and say, "What does 'iudc' mean?". They are so kind to their grammy and with patience teach me their lingo and spelling that the younger generations use on the puters these days !!!

I don't correct anyone either as I'm not out to make a person feel bad because they don't know grammar (me neither) or can't spell correctly". I just enjoy the conversation and if I don't understand what they are saying I ask them to repeat it - usually I can get it on the 2nd try since people have a habit of repeating things differently the 2nd time.

And Linda - you wonder why I love you! You are a sweetie and I love reading your posts. xo Edi

  10. JohnJ, I mean no disrespect to you at all when I say that you don't have any idea what you are talking about at all. I would be remiss to let your statement stand without saying that. I would not want anyone to think that the statements you made are true - they are not.

I am not a memeber of Michael Roods group or any other Messianic group but I do study the bible searching for truth, I listen to various teachers and check out many groups seeking truth. I think people should be very careful expressing opinions about any group or ministry without actually checking out what they really believe and say. I happen to know that Michael Rood very much believes in Jesus Christ and everything that pertains to him, as do all Messianics - Jew & Christian.

I also do not think anyone reading here should take the information received from Jews for Jesus as an example as to how others believe. They very much have their own agenda that does not a lot of times agree with other Jews or Christians or Messianics.

What people need to understand is that the "Bible" is a Jewish book written to Jews by Jews and for Jews. The scriptures Jesus spoke, the apostles spoke and his disciples spoke were the scriptures of old - they didn't have any other writings than those. There is only one scripture - everything in the "New Testament" references the "Old Testament". The "New Testament" is only contradictory in translation and understanding. To have any understanding of the New Testament there must be a knowledge and understanding of the Old Testament and a rooting and grounding in it as well.

If you would like a better understanding read/look/listen to the following books/DVDs/audio's:

Messiah I & II: Understanding His (Jesus) Life and Teaching in Hebraic Context by Avi ben Mordechai

The Signs in the Heavens by Avi ben Mordechai

Galatians: A Torah Based Commentary in First-Century Hebraic Context

    Understanding Judaism by Benjamin Blech

The Language of Judaism by Simon Glustrom

Restoring the Two Houses of Israel by Eddie Chumney

Who is the Bride of Christ by Eddie Chumney

There are also many audio/DVD/CD by Stephen Jones that are very informative and good

Again, I mean no disrespect to you at all but I did not think it right to let eveyone think what you were saying was "gospel", true and right because it's not.

  11. Mine is a bird - cause I'm a birdy girl. I have my Buttercup and love him to pieces. After he gets over having the grumpies he's a happy, chirpy little guy. I love to just sit and watch him transact with other birds, his buddies, toys, me, my husband, my friends and my grandchildren. I have found I can learn a lot about how to love God and live life from my animals.

  12. Suda, There I was controlling my appetite and then I saw all that scrumptious food and voila' I'm hungry now. Mmmmmmm and Yummmmm. Gotta go eat now. Hehe

    AND ((((CHULA))))

Welcome to Greasespot Cafe - so glad to have you.

  13. Well this is an interesting thread. I just go talk to God and thank Him for all His blessings to me in my life. And I tell Him how I'm doing and what's going on in my life, my husbands life, my son's life, my grandchildrens life, my friends lives, the world, how much I love Him, how I'm feeling about things. Is that praying?

Does anyone have a mind picture of going to God and talking to Him? Or Jesus Christ?

  14. Wow, I was in TWI early enough on that I was there when Emporia, The Way Cultural House (or whatever it was called), Indiana Campus etc. were purchased.

It is so weird to hear them being discarded one by one. Good or bad VPW really built TWI up and LCM and R*sie have run it completely into the ground.

I'm curious, did ROA shut down because the masses weren't coming anymore?

  15. I think most churches leaders are a lot like the ones in TWI. People are stuck iin wanting a "king" (the wrong kind) to lead them and be responsible for them. Like when the people told Moses - YOU go up on the mountain. Everyone was invited but they didn't accept the invitation and appointed Moses to do it for them. That is still how most people are today.

And It fosters a "I have to be better than you are" attituded among the leadership. I have found very few leaders who can stay humble enough to take God's people where God really wants them to go to. I think that is why God is not present in a lot of the churches.

Most leadership wants you to place yourself under their "covering" which is wrong spiritually. There is only one covering you can really be under - God's covering. And when church leaders forget that, they are traveling down the wrong road and leading the people down the same wrong road.

  16. Hmmmm, lets see. The LC's wife abused their son (proven fact) and I was admonished and told I needed to spend more time with her to learn how to be a leaders wife. Uh, I told him I wouldn't walk across the street to spit on his wife and to get the h*ll out of my house. HW told me (seriously) I needed to be a whore in the bedroom and a chef in the kitchen like his wife was. Oh, thank you for sharing!!!

LCM was an egotistical, loudmouthed fool who thought he was God's gift to the masses and he ruled like a Hitler. There is more than one way to kill people's spirits and lives (literally). RevT was also a demi-God to his people. Micromanaged people to h#ll and back. Told people God told him they should get an abortion, divorce their wives, husbands yada, yada, yada - terrible man, terrible leader. GK was HORRIBLE - like a little boy playing God with the people under his leadership. Euuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. My husband was having an affair with a woman and GK knew it and made her my husbands co-twig leader. I went HUHHHHHHH <_<:confused::realmad:

Talk about a dysfunctional family - they took the cake. Well, Jim Jones took the koolaid - it's a miracle these people didn't follow suit. BUT, there were some really good people along the way too - VF was a great Corp leader. Glad I got out when I did. They could have made The Way into a reality show!!!
