  1. Im not a vegiterian. But around 10 yrs. ago my ex-husband had an employment px and found out his cholestrol was very high. It was around 300. So we went on a heart healthy diet that lasted about 5 yrs. We cut out totaly red meat pork . I cooked only with turkey, white chicken, and fish. We lost weight and felt much better. It was difficult to cut out those big robust sirlions and pork roast on Sundays. But the truth is we felt better. We never felt like our food just sat in our bellys making us feel full and plump, and my other dishes were satisfying. We did miss bacon tho. I use to walk in restaurants on saturday mornings and smell the bacon and just went awe.....We were not trying to be trendy just live a little healthier lifestyle. I remember the first steak I had after doing this for years. I could taste the grease in my mouth and it stayed in my tummy for days....It took weeks to get use to the old habits.

  2. Thanks Radar

I have heard such great things about the area. I need to look at the job prospects there. I work for a great company. If I do we should keep in touch..icon_smile.gif:)-->

  3. Sudo

Thanks for the response. I have the opportunity to transfer there. I am still giving it thought. My daughter who is in Turkey (AF) will be going to Seymore Johnson for her final 2 yrs. I really like the little town heart of America idea.icon_smile.gif:)-->I work ay Abbott Labs now at there headquarters, we have been taking huge layoffs.

  4. Ive been out for 2 years.

I cannot tell you how so very wrong the twisted doctrine is that is taught in the way..I think the responsibilities have to fall on the heart who his searching for truth, even those who are in are doing alot of heart searching..It takes guts to face what Truth is.Its takes Stamina to rightly cut the doctrines.Ive been fighting this stuff in my own life..

One question to those still in..

What defines Gods love and what is light. Your discerning heart for Truth is the only thing that will cause you to stop the subtle abuse. I never knew about these websites while I was in...I cried when I found this place..I WAS SO LIED TO...I still see healing, signs, miracles and Wonders.....

  6. I was in 74', and remember all the groups Ted mentioned. Wow the music that came from Those very talented musicians were never to be touched secularly . The harmony in their voices and sweetness that came to rest on hearts. Ive never seen talent like that since. Michael Martin was pretty good..but the words were infamous of the way.

I was able to see Leon Hansen and Burt ??forgot his name, a couple of months ago. 2 yrs ago I was able to sit in a concert where Dean Ellenwood played..Brought back many memories of old. Here in the last ten years, The Way propounded that anyone who left would die.......Well..You guys keep Kickicking but!!............... Thank you Ted!

  7. My most favorite place in the world outside the Grand Canyon. My first time there was in June. I sailed the Atlantic 2x one trip was whale watching. Home of the Pilot and Humpback whales. I left a part of me there. Home of the International Space station. It was my first Heaven and earth exp. haha!little fishing village also home to many Scotts and Irish. Also, I cannot forget the French Acadians. whooooops great fresh fish and Lobster.

  8. I work for a very large Pharmaceutical company in the Medical communications dept. Last year Tubocurarine was DCD. The company I work for was not able to get into the jungle to extract the roots because of the Drug Lording in the Rainforest. Our people would of been killed. This is a company located in 80 countries. The drug Tubocurarine is used as a last attempt to keep the Heart and lungs pacing.I cannot tell you how many calls I had from Dr.s from all over this USA and Directors of Hospital Pharmacys I had to talk to who were outraged. I could not tell them why!! Of course, the Medical Affairs had to come up with a letter for corespondence..Lets talk trees..

  9. May I suggest something here. If your are indeed looking to leave, it would be best not to leave alone. If your a single person this can be a huge adjustment. Really..There are many loving people who would welcome and help you through the change.Learning to walk with God and not being supported by the present truth stuff is a huge change. Please find someone in you branch area and trust together.I left in Jan. of 00'. I have learned to walk with Father on my own and it is sweet. I also had people I knew here who had left in 95 and only experienced a little abuse..

email me if you need..I would be blessed to help.

  10. Well, I know this is why my daughter went into AirForce.

She wanted out the this area. After local Branch co-ordintaor came to my home, and accused my 2 daughters of being on drugs, and they were 11 and 13. My oldest was a straight A student and competed for the USGF in Gymnastics for 8 years.

Why- Because both my daughters refused to go to fellowship

why- because they had seen so much hurt. Familys breaking up.People moving away..These were close friends of mine who we built our lives around. They got chewed out, for me forcing them to fellowship..Because there hearts were not smiling anymore. I was removed after being asst' for 3 yrs. because my children did not want to see more hurt. This all happened in 95..

why because they did not understand the love of God anymore. It was cruel and unusal punishment.

She is now in Turkey--Because of 9/11 it has caused her heart to search. Between us, she is praying again..God be thanked!!

  11. Hi

Late is a ok w/ me..

I felt a need to post about my b-day, because its so different for me,to be able to actually feel like I have choices.Even in how I choose to celebrate a simple B-day. being I sometimes still get caught up in my mind the law that I lived under while in the way.Its been almost 3 yrs since I have left. Im definitely not a bar hopper or whatever. This is not my habit or lifestyle. It the freedom to express my fun was great.

I will be moving to the greater Las Vegas area mid April 03'. This is a huge move for me . Over 3000 miles a way from where I live, so its taking some careful consideration. Thank goodness I have friends there and the internet to help get plans in place.
