    Dove has a 'campaign' for Self Esteem & Real Beauty...

    Their short film is a fantastic exposure of advertising, a must see, especially for young people!

    My children are reminded that a person's looks aren’t important, but rather what is IN the person, their thoughts, beliefs, intensions and behavior ~

    For some reason this song keeps coming to mind when thinking of how Weirwille ran the Corps & TWI...

    Change a few words around, and it's about right :rolleyes:

    Spoon, did someone already say SPOON?!?!?!?!

    This word would sometimes make my children stop and wonder if what they were doing or thinking was okay... :(

    “Would you get a spoon for me, please“?, and they would respond, “Why, did I do something, am I going to get a spank”? :unsure:

    :( the woman looks like she's been beaten...

    Never being the victim of domestic physical abuse/violence myself, I guess I just don't understand. For a woman to endanger her small infant, her mind must have been severely distorted...

    What's the whole story? What was the boyfriend doing? Any Drugs or Alcohol involved? How many times was this woman beaten, and was it from this same boyfriend? Did anyone know about the violence in that home?... We're they receiving government assistance?

    It seems that someone should have noticed 'something' before it came to the point it did :(

    If my memory is serving me right, Halloween was called 'Happy Harvest Day', and when the children went out for goodies, they were to say, 'BLESS AND TREAT' :( ... we did it for a short time, but the kids got tired of being so different... Mom, do we have to say that?

    All because we weren't going to 'trick' anyone if they didn't give us a treat~ :confused:

    There are more 'details' and instructions that go along with this whole theme... but it's just ridiculous, and I'd rather spend time w/ my children right now :wave:

    It seems TWI leadership 'housed' 'fed' and 'past on' 'spirits' other than the one from God.

    From what TWI taught about the 'spiritual kingdom', spirits travel in packs...

    Seducing spirits traveled with which others? Lying? Slight of hand? :confused:

    My Syllabus is packed away... on a high shelf

    But I do recall them teaching that 'seducing spirits' weren't the 'sexual' type, but rather spirits seducing people away from the Word... well, isn't sexual inappropriate behavior OFF THE WORD!

    Yet another twisted teaching to 'okay' their 'spirit filled' behavior.

    And yes, I saw Howard with my own two eyes, on a few occasions, drooling like a dog in a room full of bitches (female dogs :)...) in heat, seeking out his next victim to kiss on & fondle~ (this was at VERY public affairs too!)

    It sounded nice, almost like an insurance policy... but my mother's advice was better!

    "Uphold the Standard of the Word" The only time I heard this, it was directly related to the 'standard of TWI', and it was meant to judge~

    "Clean House" This meant there was thinking or activity that TWI didn't like, and they were ready to kick some people OUT! :unsure:

    Is this what you mean?…

    "There is safety in a multitude of counselors" = made sure your TC or BC or LC know your business, inside & out, and DON'T for the love of God, go OFF alone w/ a decision... you might not be safe :o

    'One's own' = IDIOT... if you were to 'go it alone', it would be IDIOTIC... stick w/ the group, get counsel, be safe :unsure: If you have an original idea, that is your own… it’s probably idiotic.

    ‘By his stripes you were healed’… this means if you’re sick then you’re NOT actively believing the Word, and you need to figure out where it is you're missing it!

    ‘Whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive’… if you have any type of need, you’re again NOT believing the Word, and should probably be watched. :spy:

    I just find it funny now, wasn't it GOD himself that said, "and his name shall be called JESUS" :rolleyes:

    But then, which 'Jesus' could we be speaking of? The baby Jesus, the boy Jesus, the man Jesus, the son of God Jesus, the Resurrected Jesus, the Glorified Jesus?... :confused:

    No matter how old he was, his name didn't change.... Guess TWI figured out the truth :biglaugh:

    Looked through ALL known boxes of pictures... it's not there. Must have been tossed during the time we were to 'get rid of anything that doesn't remind you of the Word'. That was to include any people that were NO LONGER STANDING...

    Years of my life have big chunks missing in the picture area.... :(
