I'm thankful for Paul, Peter, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and VPW but I don't worship them at all. VPW gave me Power for Abundant Living which taught me how to worship the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ in truth and in spirit. What is "the Bible"? Just because Vic " never claimed everything he taught in PFAL was by direct revelation of God" doesn't mean it isn't. Is it fact or truth? With respect to Rafael's positions let me say I'm far more of a novice with God's Word than Mike is. I've looked briefly at them here and on his site. All I can tell you is God's Word was not written for unbelievers. Each person decides for himself whether he's going to believe God's Word or not. Yesterday's gone. Tomorrow ain't here yet. God's Word is an eternal now

Everybody, please, lets skip the formality and drop the uppercase 'S'. All except Rafael (all without exception, with distinction, or without distinction) 1969, of course, and he may address me as Mr. Seaspray. Radar, if you're going to shorten my handle to 'ss', we've got to find a blinking nazi death's head to go with it. Radar you reminded me that there is a class of people who took WAP and did not take PFAL. These folks are victims of twi too. Anyone who sat through WAP, PFAL grad or not, was a victim. The GreaseSpot is great. It reminds me of a mini ROA without the music and the WOW burgers. Though I must confess that I do find myself humming old Joyful Noise tunes sometimes when I'm visiting. And every now and then I go to the kitchen and make myself a WOW burger just for the fun of it. My wife and daughter think I'm a little nuts and always ask me why we can't just call them hamburgers like everyone else. When they do this I jump up with a closed fist in the air and yell, "It's the Word, the Word, and nothing but the Word". They respond with, "Chapter and verse, please". At that point we're stuck and I just say, " Heck with it, let's have an ice cream cone." I will venture to say that all here, whether reading, writing, or both, are born from above. Most are grads of Power for Abundant Living. If we all are a product of all our yesterdays, that yesterday that we spoke in tongues and knew what it meant is a yesterday we all have in common.

Radar, You have got to know that I'm a big fan of yours. I like your stuff. Been reading you since back in the day of Waydale. Don't remember it all, but I was getting the point. LCM got that right about it not being dear old dad's twi. "Harshness of twi 2" is an understatement. Sounds to me more like "How to turn your own home into a concentration camp". Vic dead? Radar, sweetheart, did you read my post? And by the way, I'll bet there's a boatload more PFAL grads here than WAP. What could be the total of new WAP grads? 200? 500? That's probably being generous. Hope, Power for Abundant Living is what this whole web site is about. It's the only thing we all have in common. Ironically, none of us would be here if we hadn't taken a class called Power for Abundant Living.

It occurs to me that I may be one of the posters Hope is referring to on this thread. Let me say that I don't doubt good people were seriously hurt over the years in the course of TWI operations. In fact, I know it to be true. How many, how badly; when, where, and in what manner is impossible to say. Some were injured such that they could not simply get up, brush themselves off, and get moving again. Before I "got into the word", I was a ski patrolman. The primary focus of our work was first-aid to injured skiers. The first thing we did upon discovering an injured skier was take off our skis and stick them tail first in the snow like an X a few yards up slope. This identified and protected the injured skier's location. Next we determined the nature and extent of the victim's (we called them victims at that time) injuries. Most of the time they were conscious and we simply asked them where they hurt. If they weren't conscious, we got them breathing, stopped the bleeding and splinted limbs. In both cases we loaded them into a sled for the ride down hill. There they were shipped to a hospital where a doctor would take over. Sometimes Mom or Dad just came and picked them up. Point I'm driving at is no injured skier was ever helped by a bunch of patrolmen standing around discussing how bad it was or who was at fault. We didn't talk about greedy, power hungry chair lift owners. We had training and we had a plan. It worked all the time every time. Even when it didn't work it worked. Power for Abundant Living is the beginning of God's training and plan for His faithful, believing believer. It is we who have neglected, and in many cases, rejected this solution. This neglect and rejection resulted in the spiritual weakness and inability we all witnessed and experienced. Why not come back to Power for Abundant Living? Why not open the books? Why should we question God's call to serve? Was it all bogus; just another big fat lie from hell? I don't think so. If it is life's a joke. There's nothing out there. It's just matter in motion. Hope, is this what the deaf man heard?
