  1. He's started doing his own laundry?

Ewwww...do you think Melsie still does it? Yuk.

At least the Martindale kids learned to make their own beds. (But not to their mother's satisfaction--I heard from the horse's mouth herself.) That's more than I can say for the Wierwille kids, who had abused and victimized followers joyfully changing their sheets. :(

  2. How busy can they be at HQ? Under V.P. I think we were somewhere around 300,000, and it dropped to 100,000 under LCM (I'm guessing). Last I heard, TWI was down to about 4,000 nationwide.

I heard about 3000 in the U.S. And that was a few years ago. No doubt smaller now. There's more way followers in one country in Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, than in the entire US. And HQ has way more staff, plus all the field staff, than the DRC does. $$$$$$

  3. It was Rev L0nn3ll Johnson, who was coordinating the Corps at HQ. They were having a picnic and Wierwille was late in showing. Rev. Johnson (I still highly regard this man) started the picnic without him. Wierwille was furious! He compared it to when Saul started the sacrifices before Samuel arrived. Then he said that L0nn3l's life will never reach the heights it once could have. All because he started a picnic without Wierwille's presence!

lmao...veepee was really full of himself, wasn't he! That must have made him feel really second-class to show up and find that something was going on that didn't completely revolve around him, like the rest of his little perverted world did.

  4. Considering Rosalie made Reynolds step down for exposing her, so to speak,

Really? Tell me more. Is there a thread here at the Cafe for this topic? I was an innie at the time, and all I knew is that he was being confronted by her for something, and then BAM, he's a purchasing agent but still gets to sit at a big round table at lunch, separate from the common folk with the lovely white buckets under the chairs.

  5. Oh yes. Those who refused to drop their distributorship were reassigned. The prevalent assignment was start a household fellowship, build to a branch in a year. I understand Rozilla dropped a new policy on the way corps that forbids distributorships.

Yeah, except Linder, right? So the new policy must be why he's selling real estate now--can't sell overpriced Acai cure-all juice in wine bottles anymore?

  6. Does anyone know the inside story about the in-residence men who usddenly, overnight, bailed on their wives and families? There were a few of them--one at Gunnison (I was there incarcerated at that time). J@s0n Br@df0rd was the one there who left during the middle of the night. Then there were 2 or 3 guys at the Indiana campus who did the same. What was the deal with that? Were the wives, you know, "in" with the Fresh Prez? I remember that he was livid over it. And at Gunnison, the wife of the guy was in really good with J@cqu3 H. Hmmm...just wondering. Anyone know anything?

  7. He and his wife pimped for lcm and helped cover it up...a lot of the sexually abused women (abused by Vic and Loy)...were sent to "Dottie" for counciling...and of course she woulod tell them how blessed they were for "ministering" to a mog...pretty sick if you ask me.

That's just sick. I had no idea about that until I read it here. She was supposed to be a really great counselor, too--must be, that's what the way told me.

  8. why is linder anything ? he never stood out in the 8th and i don't think he comes from money

    very strange

I think it's because he has stuck around for so many years and has made his way up through battlefield promotions, being ordained in, was it 1992 or 1995(?) with all the other battlefield ordinations (D@niel, C0yle, etc.). Plus now he has so much dirt on all the trustees that he's kinda like Ms. Bidon--people they don't want to .... off too badly for fear that he'll talk. If they're not nice to him, he could become one of us. Bwahahahaha!

  9. roflmao...but can I get the hoohobbers jr. director's chair without actually being a jr. director?

Brian your daddy has always been a backbiter. Wanted power before Craig got the nod as king. Kissed all the butt he could and sent your innocent sisters in Christ to the slaughterhouse covering for Craig. For his reward, the Fox sent him to England. He was hurt but obeyed as he always did so he could protect you. He wants you to be king. Your dad is a sob who looks down at people and never serves but demands to be served. What a great example of a minister….

Do not turn in to him…

I never got that impression from the elder moneyhands. I always thought he was a good man who was willing to do anything to move the way's brand of "the word." Until I heard he was more than displeased with his UK assignment, I always thought he was happy to do whatever was needed. Maybe the jr. director/jr. moneyhands learned some of his backbiting skills from his dad?

  10. Seems that

he is sending out lots of resume's but that prev work experience sucks.

You can not work for a cult on staff for 15 yrs and get a job in a high paying

field to support a family of six...

Let's review his education and work history just a bit:

early 90s: graduated from college with a bachelor's degree (finance, I think)

    93-96: in-residence; graduated 1996

96-03: staff at Camp Gunnison as Multi-Services department coordinator

03-08: staff at HQ as Personnel department coordinator (over vp's dead body will they change the name to Human Resources--or "won't" they change the name, I guess)

08-10: Junior Director of the cult that snapped. I'm sure that'll look good on the resume.

Good thing he knows how to use email and an Internet browser since he's worked for a backwards org that still uses pencil and paper, interoffice mail, and fax machines.

  11. When I first got in the way ministry, God did some really great things for me. Over the years, those things seemed fewer and farther between. And then I would hear stories of new people coming to the ministry and all the great things God was doing for them. So I would wonder, why doesn't God do things like that for those of us who have been in the ministry for a long time? And sometimes I would even try to justify it by thinking that we had fewer needs than a new person, who really needed a lot of deliverance. But that's kind of hard to justify at HQ when all around you the staff are getting older and older and getting cancer and all kinds of other diseases, and no one's getting healed without doctors and surgeries and all that.

So now I'm reading a book called Toxic Faith that was recommended to me by Twinky when I posted this thread How do you get over it? (Thanks, Twinky!). It has a great explanation for this:

In a toxic-faith system, the organization takes the place of God.

That explains a lot--like why God seems to do so much for people who were new to the way but very little for those who had been around for a number of years.

  12. Would someone please bring forth a word of yelling, please?

"For, yeah my stinkin' worthless kids, just know that you make me want to puke. You make me sicker than the East is from the West. Just know that withersoever thou goest, I'll be watching over you, waiting for you to screw up so I can needlessly chastise you-----Thus speweth the MOG almighty"

    Thus saith the screamin' prophesier.

    You crack me up, Waysider!

i need to correct something i said

wierwille did not say "how long do i have to wipe your way corps azzes"?

he said "how long do i have to suck your way corps azzes"?

That is so disgusting. Makes me so glad I never knew the man. I took PFAL the month that he died, in May 1985. On the other hand, if I had known him, maybe I would have seen what a scumbag he was... ?? Don't know. I realized lcm was a scumbag long before I was willing to admit it, though. I guess that's one of the effects that Krazy Koolaid has on a person.

    :smilie_kool_aid:

  13. And Harve's bit makes it sound like there's tons of classes, and the pics shown make it look like all the classes are huge. He says the WAP series has foundational, intermediate, and advanced classes--sounds like several at each level. Then he says the biblical studies series has classes such as Living God's Word as a Family. That's really funny--since that was the only class in that series when the video was made.

    Real slick. :eusa_clap:

    not :realmad:

  14. OMG, OldSkool, I can't believe you found that video! That's frickin hilarious! Makes me so glad I'm an outie now. It reeks of backward, out of touch, behind the times, old blue-hairs running the good ole' church. That fellowship shot looked just as dry and stale as the fellowships really were. Yuk.

  15. Rosie will probably get to read this when she gets here printouts from WAYGB.

OMG...RU kidding me? Rosalez gets printouts from the WayGB? Still hates computers, does she? Hates the Internet? That's kinda like hating a car and preferring a horse. Hating electricity and preferring candles. Hating email and preferring snail mail. (Oh wait...she hates email too. Makes people rush and work too fast.)

    Sorry for the rant.

Hi Rosalez! Hope you're having a very powerful and controlling day in your little cornfield that you control. Just know that you really don't control the world.

  16. Ugh...I came so close to being in that video. I had an appointment the day the crew came to tape it, and when I got back I couldn't even get into my office. Everyone was out in the lobby having a fake fellowship that was being recorded for the video. Whew...got out of that by the skin of my teeth.

Bliss wrote on another thread that she thought even the WC didn't know they spent money on it--she's right. I don't think anyone but the directors knew that. It was presented to everyone like it was all a big win, a freebie. They got selected because of their ethics...blah, blah, blah. Too bad they never told anyone why the video got pulled--because of their corruption, lies, coercion, scandals...

  17. And how about the lunch hour. They can't require you to attend the meal, but they can sure put the pressure on and make you feel like dirt if you don't go.

So let's add up the hours:

    46 - work

    5 - STS + volunteer + snack shop

    5 - lunch meals

    1 - lame department fellowships

57 hours a week, minimum, for somewhere between $300 and $400 per week. Now there's a deal! (for the cult, that is)

  18. • You’ll probably leave the ministry faster than if you were to stay on the field in your passive state.

Now that's the best benefit I've seen! Nice one, Bolshie!

    Here's some others:

    • If you do not attend the service, then you will be hounded by your department leadership until you can report to them that you heard the tape--because they have to give account to Rosie that all have heard it.
    • The PTO system doesn't get much better until you have been on staff for 5 years, when I think you get another week. And in addition to only a few days and requests being approved based on seniority, there's also restrictions to the number of days before and after a weekend (esp. a holiday weekend) that you can take time off.
    • You will not be required but you will be highly pressured to attend lame, boring, morning department "fellowships."
    • If you have children, they will be required to be in the day care and summer camp programs. They will also be highly pressured to "volunteer" for Sunday service responsibilities one month each year.
    • You will live in the middle of nowhere. The closest grocery store is 20 minutes away, and the closest night life is an hour away. But don't come home too late if you live in the dorm--you'll have to gain access via the night watchman, who will see you on camera and be required to take the names of all the people you're with.
    • Don't plan on having any non-ministry family come to visit you. Very strange housing arrangements for guests. Way too much red tape. Chief Housing Officer: Donna Martindale. That says it all.
