  1. They probably make them fill the front rows rather allow people to spread out. "You, sit in the middle of this row between those two really big guys."

Got to have it look good for the camera, which will only point its lense as far back as the fifth row.

I bet they still only offer VHS and Cassette, even though it's probably now cheaper to do DVD and CD.

And who still uses VHS and cassette?

  2. Look's like Rosalie thought Chris Geer was right -- that Doc Vic wanted 5 on the BOT/BOD.

Let's see, what else did Geer say Doc Vic wanted? Oh yea, thought Craig was a failure and should be out.

Hmm, is Rosalie working for Chirs Geer?

  3. I remember that. Although I didn't participate in the singing (never much cared for it, only sang when required to).

Wayne Clapp came out and told us we were out of order because there was no leader leading the song. Then Craig came out with his rant.

    Egotistical $ h i t s !

  4. Harmon thinks he can sing. Actually, he thinks he can do anything better than anyone below him in the TWIt pecking order. I think they issue you your ego when you gadiate the corpse. icon_smile.gif:)-->

    ONE MORE TIME!!!!

    Standing on the promises...

Rise up O' men of God...

    And quietly now....

    Peace, peace, wonderful peace...

I come to the garden alone...

Got any rivers you think are uncrossable...

  8. Sharon,

It is interesting that Judaism is coming up a lot with ex-twits (notice that's EX-twits). icon_smile.gif:)-->

Me thinks TWI emphasized the Old Testament a bit much, and deemphasized Jesus.

Also interesting, as Chas noticed, is that what a person was raised in seems to stick with them. From my observations (purely unscientific), it takes something to replace a religious upbringing before it goes away. I guess the brain doesn’t want to give up plausible answers to unanswerable questions very easily, especially when risk of eternal damnation exists.

My upbringing was middle-of-the-road protestant that latter swung to Pentecostal before the TWIts found me. Given how my analysis came out, it would appear I have replaced all of it. icon_smile.gif:)-->

  9. Don’t know what religion you should be in? Don't know if what you're in is right for you? Not to fear, Belief-O-Matic is here for you.

Take the short 20 question quiz and find out what religion you practice, or should be practicing:

    Belief-O-Matic

    My top 3 results:

    1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)

    2. Nontheist (96%)

    3. Secular Humanism (96%)

Now I’ve been to a Unitarian Universalism church before and I know they are not my cup of tea. Therefore, take the results with a grain of salt (or by throwing it over your sholder). icon_smile.gif:)-->

What do you practice, or should be practicing?

You know what happens when you idolize people? They can do no wrong.

Yup! Seen that too many times with innies.

I wonder what would have happened if Craig hadn't admitted anything, or denied it all? If it hadn't come from the horse's foot, I bet he could have quietly settled with the Allens and retained his power.

I remember my ex, after hearing the tape of him admitting to having sex (his words) with her, not believing he did anything wrong but that it was all her fault and she took advantage of him. It took the local corpse leaders, saying what he did was wrong, before she finally realized that maybe he did do something wrong. It wasn't until he was booted that she gave up idolizing him.

Even then, it was only Craig and all his fault. Craig didn't learn it from anyone. No one helped Craig procure women or cover it up. Craig made one, maybe two mistakes. All the other accusations are lies.

TWI does a pretty good job of keeping people in fantasy land, while the top idiots live their own fantasy.

I wonder if she pimped for vee pee, too. That would explain a lot......

I've always wondered this also but have never seen anything on it. I don't doubt she serviced Vee Pee and procured others for him. She doesn't have anything else that would hint at her quick rise through the ranks of TWI.

  12. In re-reading Dr. John Juedes write up on the Allen lawsuit, I took notice just how much of a role that Rosalie played in this nightmare:

    http://www.empirenet.com/~messiah7/sut_sxinterogrev.htm

    quote:
"There is evidence that Rosalie Rivenbark knew about Craig Martindale's extra marital sexual relationships, as early as 1995. Deposition of L. Craig Martindale, page 123.... There is evidence to indicate that both Rosalie Rivenbark and Ramona Biden played a role in the events leading up to the sexual encounter between Craig Martindale and (Mrs.) Allen. A jury must decide whether the encounter was consensual, or if an assault occurred. If the jury finds that an assault occurred, the same jury might reasonably conclude that defendants [including Rosalie] engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity, which led to the assault."

It’s not just that Rosalie knew what Craig was doing, SHE PLAYED A ROLE IN SECURING MRS. ALLEN FOR CRAIG. The only issue, as the judge saw it, was whether the encounter was consensual (as Craig claimed) or was an assault. If a jury found it was an assault, then the same jury would most likely find the defendants (plural – includes Rosalie) engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity.

I remember way back on Waydale someone mentioned that she was confronted with this little snippet from the judge. She claimed it was a lie. Hmm, a lying judge? Is that the best you could can up with?

It’s one thing to dismiss accusations made by cop-outs, but to dismiss a judge who has no interest in the outcome of a trial other than to ensure it is done legally? Do tell Rosalie, why would a judge lie about you?

So Rosalie, are you still pimping? Or are others doing it for you now?

  13. Found some corpse notes in the Waydale archive dated April 8th, 1998:

Rev. Martindale said to Rev. Rosalie Rivenbark - look at the Trustee assignment as a five year one. Likewise with the Reynolds. John has already made the ultimate commitment spiritually of ordination. Rev. Martindale will stay on as President for a long long time.

He made it 3 more years. Quite a long time...

    icon_biggrin.gif:D--> icon_biggrin.gif:D--> icon_biggrin.gif:D-->

Rosalie and Harve have past their 5 year tenures also. Are they going to step down?

  14. LLP,

I have no idea what you just said.

Wasn't the issue with MN TWI's SUPPORT OF HIM? What does that have anything to do with renouncing one's faith? Faith and support of an organization should be two different things, no?

I have never heard of TWI being refered to as a "worldly entity." It has always been God's household, most perfect thing on earth. If it is a worldly entity, then how is faith associated with supporting it both with your money and time?

    quote:

If guilty, he should pay for his transgressions per the terms of the laws of our land.

Huh? IF? He was tried and CONVICTED. There is no if anymore. He did it and is paying for it. AND TWI STILL SUPPORTS HIM!

I don't know what to think of people like you. I know a little girl who was attacked just last fall at a branch meeting. TWI tried their same COVER OUR foot job on it. The mother still supports TWI. It's DISGUSTING!

I think signal hit the nail on the head. You have a good income, as you have boasted of before, and TWI treats you with kid gloves. They won't do anything to interupt their revenue stream from you. And you take the GREEDY foot view of, as long as it hasn't happened to me.... These must be your benifits you claimed earlier, getting off being treated like something special.

Seen it too many times. You're not special, you just have something they want....MONEY!

Unfortunately, your money is paying for tomorrow's abuses.

To answer some of your qustions - I think some posts clarified a bit but - I wanted to answer you.... Ok - about my comment:

“(YES, YES, YES - he is HIGHLY supported by the Branch and state leadership - they packed his house up when he was arrested and visited him in jail and encouraged him on the phone etc...) He is in the ministry to this day.”

LLP, see me responded to some of your questions here also, for which it would be nice to know your response.

    It's a very informative post:

Could you elaborate on what rewards you are reaping? To be honest, I can't name one thing of any value I got in return for my ten years in there.

And why is it considered a reward?
