Hey all, Pat asked me to ask you people for your opinion. The file he received is 365 pages. The evidentiary hearing was a lot of scanning at less than half of this file. The question he asks is should he weed out the the less important info? The report includes the investigator's notes on his investigation, the complaints from various interested parties, etc. By the way, the report also disclosed 21 properties TWI owns in the New Knoxville area.... Kit: I talked to pat over the weekend and it seems that the case is going along faster due to people reading the court testimony and the comments made here in this thread. TWI has been dragging their feet all along, and now the depositions are being taken I think this month. The feeling I get is that all the info sent to the lawyers for the Peelers has been greatly appreciated and will help get the truth out in the trial. I was just daydreaming about the upcoming Peeler trial depositions, and this thought came into my mind: What would I ask Rosie, Loy, Harvey and the rest of them? In a deposition the person being deposed has to answer under oath the questions put forth. Knowing they would have to answer your question, what would you ask? Copyright 2004 by the author. johniam, I asked Pat what it was all about now that I knew who you were referring to. He said while writing a book (which he hasn't finished), that he had a theory about God not creating things more than once. His examples included creating Adam, then not creating Eve, but taking genetic material (a rib) from adam to make Eve. Then when all life was to be wiped out by the flood, life was preserved in an ark with noah. Pat's theory about Mary's conception was that God removed sperm from Adam in the garden before the fall,and preserved it in a frozen state. Kinda like we do with bulls sperm for future impregnation.Because the earth was covered by a flood, I think he thought that space was the only place it could be kept frozen for implantation into Mary. The cap of his theory was that Jesus was called the 2nd adam, and that might have more significance than people realized. Perhaps that is why he had this theory. I don't see why you would have a negative attitude about someone having a theory that sorta makes some sense. I know that I haven't been in TWI and know the bible like you guys do, but the guy is smart and has literally given the shirt off his back to help people. I was told that B.G. Leonard's gifts of the spirit class, in the first session, tests that each student is already proficient in the 3 worship gifts. Socks: I think it all depends on which time zone you were in when you prayed, and whether you crossed the international time zone while praying and your prayer was sent back in time or not. I have heard that when people left TWI, that part of the shunning ritual was to pray for their destruction. Some of the documents I have read stated this practice. I also listened to a woman named Donna M. saying to a group in public that a former way minister's daughter or grandaughter died in a plane wreck because he left. Although I don't know as much as you folks that have been in TWI, it seems to me that praying for evil to fall upon someone is wrong. And if either God or satan responds to prayers, then the author has a point I think. A verse I have read in way stuff is John 10:10 which says the thief comes not for to steal, kill and destroy; I am come that they might have life.... Someone who was in TWI told me that they were reamed for leading someone into tongues and not making the person wait to do it "right" in session 12. This was a person who had waited months and there was still no class running in their area. In various readings and what people have told me about this TWI cult, I heard something that I consider horrible and despicable.
