There is a dinner on sunday night, diner boat cruise Tusday night. Monday is all day at the lake day, a farewell b-fast on Thursday AM.

It is only 6 hours from LA to Las Vegas,

and just about the same from San Diego....

We have driven to Ca many times for vacations. we are going to Angels camp in June too. Driving from Las Vegas.

Taking the scenic route through Yosemite....where I grew up....

Come to the the reuion, it will be fun.. :D-->

I went to AZ in Feb this year.

I was way out at Eden Hot Springs, which is east of Phoenix.

It was a really lovely drive on state rt 70 or 60. Winding roads in the AZ desert, with lots of saguaro, and agave, etc. :)-->

I came back and stayed the night with a ex-way 13th Corps friend of mine in Gilbert.

We had a good time talking and laughing etc.

Then I drove home the next day and of course took the scenic route back to Las Vegas.

I drove to the AZ side of Lake Meade to see it, then drove on over the Hoover Dam into Las Vegas which is the Mohave desert.

Nice week.

AZ is very beautiful. I like the desert...

Phoenix is very interesting with it's big rocks just jutting up all over the place.

If I could afford to build a home on the top of one of those little mountains I would be doing it now....

My husband watched the video.

He said that Nick Berg had to be dead already, as there was no blood. There would have been lots and lots of blood everywhere, had he been alive.

And it would have taken much longer to get the head cut off with their crude knives.

It had to have been done earlier.

I will never forget that day....

I was "tripped out" at the time. :(--> My husband had abandoned me, :(--> so no belivers or corps in the city wanted anything to do with me. I was outcast, and unwanted.

So I was just all by myself.

I was working as a Dental Assistant, and was reading the morning paper, and saw the words, "Founder of The Way, dies at 68", and there was a picture of him.

MY VERY FIRST FEELING WAS RELIEF..

He had been so verbally abusive to me when I would not let him touched me, and when I refused to have sex with him. :o--> VPW humiliated me beyond belief, so I was INITIALLY RELEIVED..

I guess my heart was really hardened.....

All I was thinking was "good ridance you M***f***a***h****"

I didn't even notice the day this past week.

Eagel I am so glad everything came out good.

Polyps that are in the colon will eventually become cancerous.

I am a retired Colonic Therapist, and I can't even tell you all how many people would come to me for Colonics AFTER they were diagnosed with Colon Cancer, but they would refuse to do it before hand.

Colonis are Contraindicated if someone has Colon Cancer. (That means we cannot give colonics).

Colonocopies are extrememly inportant for people over 50 AND people that have a history of Colon Cancer in their families.

A Colonoscopy will show the polyps, and as in Eagle's case, they were caught when they were still "just polyps" and removed. Praise God for that!

A series of Colonics will give you not only a clean colon, ;)--> but the peace of mind that YOU have taken YOUR health and done something about it.

Of course after colonics, you must change your diet. Eat lots of FRESH fruits and veggies salads, etc.

Cooked food has had the enzymes destroyed.

Think about it, protein is destoyed at 118, but we cook our food to 350-400 etc....?

Now I must tell tou all that if you ask a medical DR, they will say to NOT get Colonics .Well dah.... -->

It is a PREVENTATIVE THING, so Dr. don't like it. -->

Get the Colonosocopy, if colon cancer runs in your family! It can save your life!!

And get a series of Colonics from a Colonic Therapist that is a member of the Internation Association of Colon Hydrotherapist.

You can look them up in the yellow pages. I get them every now and then for maintenance...

I can relate to what alot of you are saying. Brambles, and Vickles especially.

For the longest time after TWI I tried to make friends with women that were, selfish and total loosers.. and I got hurt everytime, why don't they like me???? Why don't they even love themselves?????

They were man-crazy and would "stand me up" to get with a man...... Geesh.

I kept making "friends" with real loosers.

The most recent one I made in 2000 right after I moved here.

She is moving out of town. Every time I called her she would monopolize the conversation. I always supported whatever she was into but she NEVER EVER would never support anything I was doing because she was "busy and overwhelmed". Give me a break. -->

I feel like "good ridance".

I need to stay away from peole that are just users and flipant and selfish.

The friends I have today, I could walk away from and never know the difference.

Is this because of how I have been "programed"?

I have a few friends that are good to me, love me etc, I would not walk away from them.

But I DO feel like the way got me caught up in relationships with loosers, for the purpose of "saving" them, and that carried over after I left.

I always hooked up with loosers.

I do not have single friend from the time I left the way the first time (1983) until 2003.

Oh my gosh that is 20 years. :(-->

I have learned in the past few years to concentrate on my own life and be in the moment with my own family etc.

I stay at home, do the garden, do raw foods, do a bible fellowship (just on the days as commamnded by YHWH, (God) in the Torah).

I go to raw food festivals and stuff that is good FOR ME Wow there's a concept!

so my life is nice and simple now.

But I think allot of us have this "problem". ;)-->

But I feel much better now, talking care of myself and my family. :D--> That is what our first responsibility is anyway! We just all got tricked into recruting 24-7 and NOT taking care of ourselves or our families.

So I hope that helps...

We just need to start loving ourselves enough to stay away from selfish loosers and take care of ourselves and our falmilies the way God says.

I;m so sad to hear this..Chuch and Margie were in the 7th Corps with me and they gave me some real good adivce about marriage.

They were such a cool couple. Chuch was a true gentelman.

Here is my spin,

I married a man that beleived in God and Jesus but was very unhappy with the church. (RC)

I had been out of the way for about 3-some years.

The man I married wanted to know more about a REAL God etc.

So I took him to some ex-way fellowships, church on the Army Depot where we were stationed, and the Adventist church.

We basically wanted to know God but did not want to go to church.

Now,

11 years later,

We do a very un-wayish fellowship in our home. :)--> :D--> ;)-->

Dr. Laura would tell you that you must marry a man in your religion because when it comes time for children there will be arguments as to what reliegion to raise them. and problems with religious holidays and in-laws etc.

It is really great to hug each other in the AM and pray together as he goes out to work.

Things like this are worth GOLD, priceless......
