  1. Very astute observation. The fact that God may not appear to adhere to _our_ rules does not mean that God doesn't adhere to _any_ rules. Zix The opposite could also be true. It also does not mean God does adhere to rules.
  2. Mike, So you believe that God was inspiring VPW and not Satan? That is interesting. I think VPW's books were a poor attempt by a sick man to be loved by someone or anyone who would notice. The sad thing is I would have given him a hug without all the BS he spread around to get it and I am sure others would have also. Even if it meant having to shower afterwards.
  3. ExC, You always make sense to me. You are like a chocolate milk shake. I don't care what the health nazi's say. You are just to dammed good to give up.
  4. ExC, What do you think about this bible stuff. Should you obey what is written? How would you find God's will? What do you think?
  5. Continued from last post.... Not that I see any harm in praying every day or tithing or any of the other stuff. But suppose God's will for me is different and while I am praying I should be working on a book and instead of tithing I should be saving for retirement. By being obedient to do the things written in the scriptures I am actually blinding myself to what God would really have me do. I even think this is the essence of what was happening with the tower of babel. All humanity was almost made blind to Gods will by a few individuals who were using the things that in their day and time pasted for scripture. They were claiming to have God's word and will for everyone and building a headquarters. The only difference I think between then and now is they were trying not only to make themselves the one great religion but also the one great government. Thus the phrase.....a city and a tower. Still won't let me make a single post...
  6. Continued from last post.... The reason I ask is because this is the main point of disagreement I have with all religions and their use or as I see it misuse of not only the bible but numerous books which I believe to be God's accurate word. This is what I see to be the main way in which people are made to be subject to men and their nonsense. People want to do God's will. When someone comes along and says, "This is the will of God for you," and points to the bible or the Koran and tells them all they have to do is obey what is written and they will be doing God's will lots of people fall for it. The Way said all I had to do was obey the scriptures. They had me doing things like praying every day, tithing, witnessing, SITing. All things I was disciplined to do every day which agree or not with the interpretations are found in the scriptures. But was it the things that God wanted me to do or the things the Way wanted me to do.
  7. WordWolf, Accurate OK. But do you believe it is applicable. In other words do you think that you should literally do what it says in those places you interpret as being for you to apply? And do you think that by applying those commandments written in the places you interpret as being for you to obey you are doing what God wants you personally to do? For example: In Eph. It says let not the sun go down upon your wrath. If I discipline myself to obey this commandment am I doing what God wants me to do or is that what God wanted the Ephesians and faithful of that day and time to do? You don't have to give me a long scripture explanation. I just would like to know what you think.
  8. SUCCESS I am normal now. I can post like everyone else. I think I am going to cry. On the last post I forgot to delete my signature that I have been using to write my post. THANK YOU GOEY, I am healed
  9. Goey, I checked my private topic. That sounds kinky. I check my private's. hee....heee This is my test to see if your log out disable idea worked. It would be very nice to be able to post like a normal poster. It's gets old being told to stop with the multiple post when you can't. I guess that is what a sex addict must go through. Continued on next post..... The only way to know literally what God is, why He is, and why we are, would be to have all knowledge because there is no other way to realize an all knowing God. This idea is expressed in the saying, "knowing even as we are known." Please forgive the multiple posts. It is the only way I can post..

  11. :)--> I think God and His activities are so much more than can be communicated through language or art. Saying I am a son of God only partly conveys the truth of what I really am. The same is the case with saying God is my father it only partly communicates what my actual relationship with Him is. I do not believe you can ascribe literally human characteristics of any type to God. Is God human? God becomes in the mind of every individual what that individual makes of Him nothing more and nothing less. But God Himself remains what He is, God. Continued on next post.....
  12. :)--> If God wanted children literally why wouldn't He have made us omniscient, omnipotent and with out form just as He is? Surly God has the power to make us that way? Aren't children or offspring in nature the same as their fathers in terms of there makeup? Consequently, since we are not like God ( unless you believe God is a man ) the only way we can understand Him is to make Him like us. When we say God wanted children we are trying to understand the motivations of God but do you really believe God even has motivations? What is a motivation? Maybe motives are something unique to the creation but not to it's creator. Continued on next post.....
  13. :)--> I have never thought God literally wanted children any more than God is literally our Father. What does God want? Does God have any want at all? Aren't needs and wants found only in physical nature? Would God have want or need of anything? Just for arguments sake if you accept there is a God then Him calling us children or us calling Him father could really only be for our benefit not His. We are the ones who have need of knowledge He is all knowing. Continued on next post.....
  14. :)--> However like I said there is no surviving life for anyone so what is the point of being on top or bottom, master or slave. You live today and tomorrow you die. As a human I have the ability to conclude that there is more to life than what can be seen. Because of this fact I can hope and if there is hope for me then there is hope for others also. Hope for the things of tomorrow has replaced the pointless desires for the things of today. But I am no fool this is not the case for the majority of people who only live for today and what their hand can lay hold to. Anyone who trusts their fellow man is an idiot. Trust God and you will see man for what he is, lost.
  15. :)--> ExC, No I do NOT. Nobody is going to survive life we all die or will at the least be changed. I am no exception. Although on a purely survival level I would say do what you want to whomever you want to do it to because you don't get another shot at being the one on top. Your interests are just that yours not mine. And if I have the power to make you do what I want I will use it. On a purely survival level. Continued on next post.....
  16. :)--> If I sound like I know the truth it is because I believe I do, not necessarily because I do. But every individual can be soundly persuaded in his or her own heart that they do know the truth even if they are wrong. This was the case with VPW and his idea to start a secular ministry.
  17. :)--> If I say to you I believe the very idea of instituting an establishment of religion is evil unless God instructs you to do it. I fully believe that statement is true but my believing it does not affect the reality of it. It still may not be true or accurate. Nevertheless I believe it is true, therefore I say so. Nothing is lost or gained in us agreeing because it does not matter except in emotional terms. So the issue of truth in beliefs is only an issue between a man and his God individually. Continued on next post.....
  18. :)--> The truth is what it is, true. Of course the thing that you may conclude to be true I may think a lie or visa versa. We both could be wrong or one of us could be right. But there is truth just as sure as there are lies. To men facts are true but to God the truth is a fact. When I say truth I am referring to the eternal. For example: infinity is a truth, distance is a fact. Eternity is a truth, time is a fact. Truth just like fact is either accurate or inaccurate, correct or incorrect. Continued on next post.....
  19. :)--> I never really saw anything wrong with using someone to the fullest extent possible. Especially when they were so easily taken advantage of. I mean really, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. It meant nothing to me if someone got hurt in my rampages. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Does a snake feel guilty for eating a mouse? A crime is a crime though and should be punished. Continued on next post.....
  20. :)--> ExC Yes I mean if something really took place. I believe fact is physical truth, and truth is spiritual fact. Not that I am doubting any of the stories. I know what I have done myself to others for sex and general debauchery. So I have no problem believing the worst in people because that is the nature of things. Continued on next post.....
  21. Long Gone The Amen brother was to indicate I was agreeing with you. Not the other way around
  22. If someone is telling their story of abuse the religious control zealot will say, now that is enough we don't want to scare off anybody or offend them. If someone curses they will say things like, you won't get anywhere doing that, as if the person cursing has an ulterior motive like them. Why should the truth in it's raw or clothed glory ever be offensive no matter how it is stated? If a thing is true then I have nothing to fear from it. It will only be of benefit to me.
  23. Of course I think it is utterly absurd. You are told to speak the truth in love and then when you do you are told to stop. The possibility that what I say is true is true is just as great as with what you say. I can be wrong you can be wrong but if you are honest shouldn't you allow it to be said? Every group always has its control freaks who want to force everyone into there little limited world view. G-spot is no different. Continued on next post...
  24. If I say all govt is evil as is the nature of man which I believe to be correct then I am somehow am a troll who is self engrossed. Is this sort of thing not Way brain. The reason I stopped going to the Way's ridiculous church meetings is because I was not allowed to teach or say anything that contradicted the ministries positions. Which is fine it is their church. Continued on next post...
  25. Long Gone I do not expect you to agree with my thoughts. I don't expect anyone to agree with what I think to be right. If you do great if you don't great. The reason I post is because I do believe I am right just like everyone else. I am only interested in stating what I think to be true that is all nothing more. Some people here are still mentally in the way. They think everyone should agree with them and if they don't then they are being argumentative and have some personal agenda. Continued on next post...
