Chas,

If religious organizations are (should be) free to discriminate on their hiring practices with impunity, then what the hell are they expecting federal assistance (such as that given to faith based initiatives) for? Why should that 'faith-based discrimination' be funded by the U.S. taxpayer, and supported by the Constitution?

This is similar to why the Boy Scouts of America just can't discriminate agaisnt homosexuals and atheists, not when they are at least partially funded/supported by tax payer monies/facilities.

Ie., your church/organization wants to discriminate? Do it on your own dime!
