Christmas Radio Shows

I happened upon a treasure trove of radio shows from the 40's. All of them are Christmas shows. I thought I would post some of them for your enjoyment.

The first one is Fibber McGee and Molly. I've enjoyed episodes of this in the past and their Christmas show is also enjoyable.

This show is circa 1942. I am amazed at some of the comments that they make are statements WE make thinking it is a new problem.

Anyway, here it is.

Paw -

OMG - My mom always talks about them - I think I'll try to find out more and maybe some CD's or something for her. She'd love that sorta trip down memory land.

I like listening to old radio shows from the 1940's. There's a station out of Maine that plays oldies shows - it's all about supporting the troops, winning the war, etc - I can usually get the signal in on a nice clear night.

Thanks for the post - very cool!
