I start my internship for my masters degree on Monday!!!!!!!!!
Good for you, Cindy !!

Waysider, thanx for the laugh this morning. I am riding my exercise bike & reading this on my iPhone!! Helps pass the time!

Polar Bear, I sold a holy spirit dove necklace on ebay. It was nothing special, not 14K gold or anything. I think I got $15.00 or so for it. I can't remember now, but if you have an ebay account, I would definitely try ebay if I were you. Be sure to put Wierwille holy spirit dove in the subject line.
Just my opinion.

Thanks, George & erkjohn!! (Yes, 4.0 is 100%, George.)

Thanks to all of you who posted in this thread.
I just got my grades for the two classes I took this semester. Microcomputer Applications and Computer Literacy were my classes and I made 4.0 in both classes!!! So I now have 9 credit hours under my belt and 4.0 all the way. I am taking Principles of Marketing and English 101 next semester. (My first class this past summer was Intro to Business.)
It has taken me 35 years to start college but I am loving MOST every minute of it.
I will probably ask for input again from you great Greasespotters.
Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Happy New Year!!!!

Happy belated birthday & happy thanksgiving to you!! Thanks for all you do for us!!

All great posts!!!
Hubby and I adopt a lady at the homeless shelter every year. My sis is the director there. Also, this year I have knitted several scarves/hats for the drug rehab where my niece works.
I buy Clinique makeup when I can get the bonus gifts. Recently, a friend mentioned she only had one tube of lipstick....well, guess what?? She has has many tubes of lipstick, eye makeup, etc. So much that she also shared of her newly-acquired stash with her sister-n-law and daughter. She told me yesterday at lunch what she had done with some of the items that I had given her. I thought that was super cool.

Interesting. I got involved in 1975. Even though we are across the river from E'ville, we were more involved w/Owensboro KY.
Some of the oldtimers around here did go E'ville functions.
I am sorry for those who have been so hurt in so many different ways while involved w/ the way international. At least Rick had to spend time in jail. Lots more should have!

I found Greg's email addy & emailed him. It is the good seed that was w/twi years ago. Gonna make plans to go!!
-
I was kinda shocked to see this in today's newspaper. Does anyone know if this is the Good Seed band that was involved w/twi?
Ok this is too strange. Greg Anderson Big Band is also playing there the following weekend. Edited to add this.

Shellon,

Happy belated birthday to you, oenophile!!! Hope it was the very best one yet. How is that son of yours doing in college???
-
Was 'witnessed' to in high school but did not take 'the class' until a year after high school graduation, May/June 1975, went wow in August 1975. Before I knew it, 19 years had passed. Got out in 1994 when Loy was ranting and raving and cussing on every SNS tape.
Have had a great life since then. It wasn't too bad before. I was one of the luckier ones, I guess. Ok, this is more than you asked for!!!!!!!! (Copied from my post above, but added bold and underline for effect)
Interesting poll. I studied these in college. Looks like this site is not very effective in reaching people that came to TWI in recent years. Just filled with people who are ....ed and feel their 20s and 30s were stolen in the 70s and 80s.
Billy G, you posted right after my post. Did you not read it??? Do I sound like I am ....ed off? You only SEE what you want to see.
There is hope for you yet, I am sure of it!!!

Well, there ya go, I can't follow directions!!!....
Hey, kimberly, it's ok. At least you tried!!!
-
Thanks, dmiller, I will probably refer to your post next semester when taking English 101.
George, our language can be complicated sometimes, can't it??
-
Thank you for the update. Good news!!
-
Raf and Wordwolf, you are both correct!!!! :)
Thanks for all the input. I don't think I will ever question this scenario again!!!
-
batcave, you are funny. Thanks for the laugh.
George, you are right on both counts. I would have changed it to Seminars for Seniors if I could.
George Aar, as always, you being you!!
Kimberly and krys, I agree but I can't change the order of the words....
I also have Adults' Seminars with things for them to do and Teens' Seminars with activities for them. The teens are going to have fun, sailing a 30' boat. heehee.
I really love PowerPoint so far. This is for my Computer Literacy class, chapter 1. I also have PowerPoint in my Microcomputer Applications class, which is chapters 6-10.
I will learn Access and Outlook also in these two classes by Dec. 4!! Then I will be free until January when I take Principles of Marketing and English 101. Guess I should have taken English 101 first!!!!!!!!!!!

Retired grammar police agrees with Oakspear.
WG
Thanks, WG. Sometimes I try too hard to find mistakes!!
The assignment won't be graded till after nov. 6th. I will post after I get my grade!!
-
Waysider, I can't change the order of the words. Your wording makes more sense. Thanks for your input.
Jeff & Oakspear, I am following you on what you are saying. The assignments are tricky and I nitpick too much probably. Attention to detail. Blah blah blah!!
I will go with it. I will let you know what happens!!
thanks.

OK, I thought I knew English pretty well but I am not sure about this. I have a PowerPoint assignment and have to correct any grammar or spelling mistakes, etc.
The title is
Seniors' Seminars
Quilting
Quilts made from donated fabrics
Sewing machines provided
T'ai Chi
Gentle warm-ups
Etc.....
I want to say that it should read Senior's Seminars but I am questioning myself. Can anyone help me?
Thanks.

WG, I lived in SC (Spartanburg) in 1990 and went to a limb meeting in Charleston. I now live in KY (western) but I don't know of one single person who is involved in the state of KY. Doesn't mean there aren't any, but I don't know of any. If I hear anything new, I will post it.
