I just talked to Shirley and she sounded great. She didn't remember where our niece is now working but did remember that Whitney has not gotten all her pagaent money together yet. She goes to therapy tomorrow.

Still needing prayer for her short term memory.

BUT so thankful that she has come as far as she has. A miracle for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend's mom was in an early WC, family I think, as she was older and kids were grown. My friend has not even gone through the things of her mom's when she was in the corpse. She may have that tape!!

God rest her soul. She was a wonderful woman and died WAY too young. She would be so proud of her daughters and her grandchildren, and GREAT grandchildren.

When I talked to my mom this morning, she told me that Shirley had called her!!!! Shirley kept asking her the same questions over and over and Mom answered them like she had just asked once!!! My mom is so sweet and compassionate. Shirley told Mom that her brother, dad, and aunt had been out to see her. So she is remembering some recent things, but some things she isn't remembering.

Mom forgot to ask her when she goes to PT next. I have not called yet.

Kathy and Belle, you both are so sweet. And livinit, I believe the same as you about the Beloved Physician. Shirley is a walking miracle right now.

Whitney called today. Her mom is home from rehab and they have had to put an alarm on the bedroom door and make other adjustments, such as hiding all meds as Shirley doesn't remember that she has taken something and could overdose. BUT Shirley does realize now that she has short term memory loss and wants to get better. Before this, she thought she was fine. Jerry took Shirley for a walk Sunday and then called my mom.

Whitney's pagent is November 23 so we can still pray for her to get her sponsors together and WIN the college scholarship. I told her we would help her also.

Happy Birthday, Linda Z!!!! On my ebay profile, I have my picture with your Aunt Casey's hat on!!!!!!!!!!! Thought that would put a big smile on your face on this wonderful day!!!!!!! You share a birthday with my godchild SARAH who is now SEVEN years old.

Hello, everyone, Whitney never called me yesterday so I don't have an update. We are heading to Memphis to meet up with Sudo and Suda for dinner and then on to see my precious 7 year old godchild, Sarah, for her 7th birthday party tomorrow.

I appreciate all the responses and will update Monday. My sister did tell me that Shirley does not believe anything is wrong with her. She told me that yesterday.

Prayers still needed.

My aunt and cousin from FL went to see her, Jerry and Whitney yesterday. Shirley remembered them. They had a good visit.

I am praying for them also. I had no children, but I have babysat many of my nieces and nephews, one of which I babysit Mondays and Wednesdays who is 4 1/2 months old, so I get to do a little mothering but it is not the same as having your own child. I do regret that my decisions in my life made that not possible. But God did bless my life with a godchild, Sarah, who will be SEVEN tomorrow and I will be there for her birthday party on Saturday. Her parents were married 17 years before she came into all of our lives, and my brother and sister-n-law were married 17 years ALSO before Whitney was born.

Your daughter and son-n-law want a baby soon and I will pray along with everyone else that it happens and when it does, it will be the biggest celebration of their lives thus far!!!
