  1. If all you want to do is sell your TWI material why don't you just put a disclaimer on it saying something along the lines of: "Warning! This material (if you're hoodwinked into believing it) will warp your thinking and life. Read it at your own peril." That way, you can have a clear conscience (as you spend your money) for selling something you believe is evil and harmful to people

I have a clear conscience selling this stuff. It will take the grace of God for the blinders to come off these people just like it took for me. Nothing I can say to them will help UNLESS they ask me why I left. Then I will tell them.

  2. All of you who have posted, including EYES, sorry I overlooked your post last nite, (I was tired from WORKING so hard!!),

Thanks for expounding the rightly-divided words of VPW to me. Mine eyes are now fully envisioned with what he said.

    Dave,

Which one are you in the picture?

My nephew played for Mr. Monroe for a while. He hated having to call him Mr. Monroe and wearing those outfits. :offtopic:

  3. As some of you know, I am listing many of my 'way things' on ebay. I sometimes look thru what I am about to list for ideas on what to put in the description.

Tonite, I was looking at 1988 Way Magazines. On the front inside cover of Jan/Feb, there is a statement, for lack of a better word, on :

The Secret To A Holy Life

The Secret to a holy life is to get your eyes off your own inadequacies and onto the Father and His glory. Our service is first and foremost to God and with God, not always to man.

To walk worthily is to walk with thanksgiving to God. The secret of a holy life is to walk with God first and foremost.

The secret of a holy life is not the labor we do, but just to love Him first and foremost. Then the work we do is not to be well-pleasing to Him, but because we already are.

    -Victor Paul Wierwille

    HUH????????????!!!!!!!!!! :asdf:

Please somebody explain this to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Don't know about the seminars, Outfield, but did you read my first post that her book went for $61.00!!!

I have an auction about to end, and the bidding is at $51.00 for 1977 Way Mags with the Binder, and Uncle Harry book!!!

  5. Hi, Ex!!!!!!!!!!

32 years ago, I took PFAL, stayed in 19 years...kept most of my 'way things'. I am now selling them on ebay and I have to say that I am shocked at the prices my items are going for and how many are 'watching' them.

Wierwille worship is alive and well,,,,, or maybe I should say alive and NOT WELL!!!!!!!!!

I learned that keeping my things for all these years is finally giving me back SOME of what I gave to twi.

  6. Cool thread, yes indeed.

First of all, I want to thank Pawtucket for taking over when waydale ended.

Thank you, Chattykathy, for befriending me and even coming to my house for visits a couple of different times. What fun we had and heart-to-heart talks that lasted for HOURS.!!!.

Thank you, Excathedra, for being so gentle and kind in so many instances. Thank you also for telling your story. Your story and others like it are what YANKED the blinders off my eyes. For that alone, I will be forever grateful.

Thank you, Raf, for helping me deal with issues concerning my sister. She has finally seen the light with the blinders off also.

Thank ALL OF YOU for putting your stories out there and for telling it how YOU see it whether I or anyone else agrees or sees it that way.

  7. Abigail,

Have you attempted to transfer your cassette tapes to CD yet?

I want to transfer some but my stereo equipment is in the great room and my computer is in the computer room.

Hubby said it would be too much trouble to take all of it apart and move it to the computer room.

Just wondering, do you have an all-in-one turntable, CD player? If so, which brand and are you happy with its quality?

    BTW, I LOVE your avatar!!!!!!!!!!

  8. I have a gun at my bedside, another in my purse and another in my glove compartment.

I will not go down without a fight and if if it is my day to die, I will die fighting.

    AMEN, DOT!!!!!!!!!

Also, having NRA stickers on your vehicles may help.

When we lived in Memphis, we had NRA stickers on all vehicles and on the front and back doors of our business. I made sure that our car wash employees knew

that hubby and I carried guns and were trained and we were not afraid to use them.

We were never robbed at our busy car wash, Thank GOD!!!!!!!!

Just this morning, we were both at our auto repair shop doing some work, and one of our customers came in. He had just returned from ATLANTA where he had

gotten off an exit for gas and was almost mugged!!!!!! I thought of you, dear DOT!!!!!!!!!!! Bless your heart and all those who have endured such tragedy in your

    lives.

Thank all of you for putting your lives out here in cyberspace to help other women. God bless each of you.

  9. Happy Birthday, Raf....

Thanks for all you add to GS and for allowing us to be 'at your wedding' via your pictures.

Have a superb day enjoying your new life with your wife and family.
