  1. The aftermath of ice storms is pretty to see . . . until those branches start falling. Very scary at night, sounds like gunfire!

My prayers are with all you midwestern folks for your safety as this thaws.

  2. There was a Carmen Holden here in mid-town Memphis during the fog years. He married Pat German. For all I know that still live there. Got really into to m&a stuff, and ended up with few in their fellowship, from what I heard.

When I Am An Old Cat

When I am an old cat I shall wear

a diamond collar and leave my footprints

on white couches; I shall drink my cream with

    a touch of brandy and spit out my vitamins;

I shall sit on the laps of dog people

just to irritate them; I shall nap on top of the

neighbor's petunias and perch on top of the

    birdbaths and grow charmingly chubby.

But for now I must tolerate the dog

and use my litter box and not sharpen

my claws on the sofa, so no one can doubt

the truth that cats are superior to dogs.

But every once in a while I wonder

if I should be naughty now and then

and nip a few toes, so my humans

won't be too shocked when suddenly

I become an old cat and

start to wear a diamond collar.

Wishing you purr-fect contentment through every stage of life. Happy Birthday!

  4. Tried to edit my first post, but could not.

Did discover my electrolytes (sp?) were way out of whack. Gave me potassium and magnesium there, and have prescriptions to fill so can take for the next several days until they are back where they need to be.

Feel much better after a good dinner.

    Thanks again for the prayers!

  5. I'd bet that if you compared the Christmas lists from a gay GSC'er to a straight one, you'd be unable to distinguish one from the other. After all, people are people.

Merrry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

  6. I'm home and glad to report NO heart attack. The tropinum (sp?) levels in the blood proved that. Great news and a huge relief!

There is still concern that it could have been a "precurser" to a heart attack, so have a stress test scheduled for this Thursday at 7:00 a.m. (Had made that appointment earlier today at an appointment with the acute care nurse practitioner at my cardiologist's office. As the blood work rejecting or confirming a recent heart attack could only be performed in a cardiac unit at a hospital, I decided to go the the ER and have the test done.) Initially, I was to be admitted, but after conferring with the cardiologist, the ER doctor agreed to send me home as I was not in acute danger and would have the test done Thursday. I am glad of his decision, but would have accepted it either way.

Thanks for the prayers, and please continue with them until this issue is resolved.

    XOXOXOXO,

  7. Looks like Wyatt Earp

interlocking rings, ring puzzle, ring knot

The Barbie twins, double, seeing double

biting an apple, eating, crunching an apple

    Why not be apple?

    Why not double crunch?

    Earring

    Erring

    Dunno . . . good mind teaser!
