I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, But the G1les daughter is married to Adam. Their other daughter is involved somehow, not sure who she is married to.

Well I was allowed to have a login at http://www.adamhirschfeld.com so that I could research some of the facts that they won't put on the public portion of their site.

Well some people on the site that are Still in the Way, complained about my presence and how much they dislike my site, so they gave me the boot. The WAYGB is alive and well and directing the "owner" of that site.

Umm, Paw? Did the BOD get suckered into this guy's scam? Back in the TWI heyday, they were even asking my husband, who had run a stamp and coin booth at a collectibles flea market in NYC, how to invest all the TWI dough, and whether they should get into the silver market. It might explain why they're M&A-ing everyone now.

I got to spend some time with John Shroyer in 2001ish. He was a very compassionate man. Something that is little known about John is that when people were leaving TWI, John would take them in or put them up in a hotel so that they could decompress. He would help them get to where they wanted to be with cash, transportation, support. The folks that I knew that were helped by him told me about how generous and empathetic he was. Never did he try to convince them of CFF, he just wanted to help get their lives back on track.

I'm utterly disgusted. If everyone who knew that Craig Martindale and Victor Paul Wierwille were whoring around had been put on "probation" or "mark and avoid," then Rosie, Donna, and all the other higher-ups wouldn't even be around today. That's about as hypocritical as it gets.

They didn't need to do anything about someone's behaviour. This is about money.

What does it have to do with TWI?

Wayfers in Colorado have been interviewed and put on probation (Mark and Avoid), if they knew anything about this investment scheme. Now why would twi do that?

I know about that. What I am currently looking for is court docs where Hirschfeld pled guilty. His sentencing hearing is in two weeks.

I have taken that thread offline while I go through some of the information. I hope to interview one of the people that invested with him. I'll have further information up later this week.

Just an update. I decided to keep the forums open until our 11th Anniversary in April. I'm working on some possible interviews to take it out in style.

I suppose I should say more specificallly, that TWI gave GSC credibility among current way members.

I remember when Mrs. Wierwille was put into a nursing home/assisted care. Through a regular poster, I was sent a message from JP Wierwille that something was awry about her not being able to live at The Way's headquarters, more specifically the home that she raised her children and lived for many decades.

I offered to let JP tell his side of the story. He did that and I published it on GSC. There was outrage about her treatment. A few days later, as I was checking new registrations, I see two new people. Namely, John Linder and Harve Platig. Well over the years at GSC, many people have registered using the names of known names at TWI. I don't automatically approve them. What I would do is wait a few days and see if they would email me asking about their registration. (as a side note, the approval process is done to filter out spammers, we would get as many as 50 spammer registrations a day)

So I didn't have to wait too long and I got an email from one of them. Basically saying why weren't they allowed to register and assuming that I was not allowing them to register. I wrote back and explained that others had tried using their names in the past. They did not comprehend that. I realized that they weren't very "web" savvy. I said that I would be happy to verify via a phone call. They agreed.

Then I realized that I was going to have to call TWI!! Not something that i ever planned on doing. I called a few friends and we discussed some strategies. One of the friends said, "You realize what this means, don't you?"

I was simmering in the thoughts of having John or Harve calling me everyday from now on harassing me about every little jot and tittle on the forums. "No what does it mean?"

"They are admitting that the "go to place" is GreaseSpot Cafe. They are giving you credibility!!"

Well I hadn't thought about that. But it was true. They were bypassing their normal means of correcting something that they disagreed with and choosing GSC!! So I was going to make the call. Well I was voted out in this four-way conversation and someone else was chosen to make the call. The decision was based on articulation and I agreed.

The call was made. She asked to be transferred to Harve. Harve picked up and asked if she could hold for a moment. He came back a few minutes later and she was on speaker phone. (I would have paid to be a fly on Harve's wall) Basically, during the phone call, GSC offered to let TWI publish a reply to JP's article. They didn't want a single word, phrase, comma, jot or tittle changed. We agreed. About a day later, I received a PDF file. This was one of the smallest PDF file, I had ever seen. When I blew it up to read it, it was all pixelated. I told them that I needed something legible, posting this would be embarrassing to GSC and TWI. After emailing back and forth, they agreed to send us a Word doc, I told them I would give them first refusal if they thought that I had changed anything. I had the article ready and posted it. TWI didn't object to it.

And TWI gave GSC credibility. Unfortunately, I think that it was a contributing factor in Harve being taken off the Board of Trustees.

An Update on my Brother.

His lung capacity has reduced much quicker than expected. He was in the hospital for two days doing a battery of tests to see if he is capable of a lung transplant. Without a transplant, he only has a few years left. The test results thusfar indicate that his heart is healthy enough to have a transplant.

If I recall, the board that Waydale was using, EZ Board closed the thread. They opened it up just so we could conclude and the countdown was part of that. I think it was Zixar that figured out how to back up the thread so that we could save it for historical reasons.

Oh, Heavens! I sure hope he doesn't get "downsized" because of the reduced workload this will cause.

Didn't really think about that. Although I am sure they are going to twist this closing into a "spiritual" victory.
