  3. Thanks for the words Rick.. This one isn't just a server..Ths thing is a real overkill beastmaster..I have been workin on it nights for a full week... twin 3.0 gig Xeon processors 2Gigs of ECC DDR registered memory 200 g-bytes of hard drive all the bells and whistles that you could ask for. This machine answers the question "Where's the beef." I am going to take a few pics of it when we get it set up tomorrow... do I sound like a kid with a new toy?? I don't wanna let it go.... oh well

  5. Gee wizz you guys..I thought that it would be a tad bit more difficult than it was. Yup, it was Angel's with Dirty Faces, AKA the rise and fall of Rocky Sullivan. My dad and I watched it on the All Night Theater when I was About 10 years old..For some reason I still remember that night like it was yesterday. here is a Bogie pic pic without Bogie. If you really can't figure it out then click on the picture, it may help..
  6. Bogie made a lot of movies.. and there are a lot of famous stills from them.. If any one wants to try this, lets play Guess the film. Here is the first one this film has a cast of 30's greats in it and it wasn't the dead end that some of the cast portrayed.
  7. Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here! [a croupier hands Renault a pile of money] Croupier: Your winnings, sir. Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.
  8. "Major Strausser has been shot....round up the usual suspects"...you got my vote.. right up there with Citizen Kane... one of the best!!! That is one of the few scenes that makes my eyes well up EVERY time I see it. Mary Martin singing "Never Never Land" in the 1960's CBS teleplay version of "Peter Pan" is another.
  9. Nah got this from Wikipedia Lynyrd Skynyrd Lynyrd Skynyrd is a Southern rock band that gained prominence in the 1970s. The group was founded by Ronnie Van Zant, who took the band's name from Leonard Skinner, the assistant principal at Lee High School, their senior high school. Mr. Skinner required them to get their hair cut. Rather than do that they transferred to a nearby school, Fletcher High. When the band gained some fame, Leonard Skinner would attend their performances."
  10. First note here, too. Did he really record this on his during his March to the Sea, or was that another one with a different first name. I see that my copy is planted squarely between Aerosmith and Alannah Myles if that helps nail it down. I often wonder if Leonard Skinner recovered from his tomain poisoning to grow up to be the coach that Ronnie VanZant named his southern rock band after???
  11. what is this "google" thingie that everyone talks about -->??? I think Brian Bowers mentioned it, in between "diddly eye oh's" --> Oh and Sudo"...And Wasway?? The guy's an ex-cult member, dude!! Need I say more??..." I think I represent that remark!!
