  1. Oh, Okay. Saint Vic is an agent of the devil and PLAF is his vehicle to spread the devils lies. Since this is a profound truth, and my expectation, you'll understand if I don't offer any proof, as by your reasoning I don't have to. Don't you mean you like to claim you like learning. These past couple of threads have offered you a banquet of learning to feast on. What have you done? Made excuses, offered cornball reasons, evaded, dodged questions, given dishonest answers...
  2. Yah, I can see how you choose your battles wisely: So why didn't you evade these unwise battles? You mean you prefer not to answer questions honestly as you would have to admit the holes in your theories.
  3. No, what is meant by lining up verses nicely is that there are verses to line up. I don't see any verses in you explanation. It's contested by many as its not a whole verse but part of a verse. If you scroll back, you see at least one example of it being contested To wit:
  4. Now you pouring tons of manure on the whole thing hoping something beautiful will grow. An honest person has nothing to fear by answering questions--pointed or otherwise. All that will result is the honest truth. A person trying to pull something, however, has everything to fear because questions will reveal what they're actually up to. Contrary to your excuse, sometimes questions--pointed, loaded, or otherwise--are attempts to show you holes in your reasoning a Saturn V could fly through. All you prove by refusing to answer these questions is that you don't believe what your claiming, as the assertation your making will not stand up to scrutiny. Again, you saying your theories will not stand up to scrutiny. Most of the time you think this when its not true. And many times you use this as an excuse because you obviously haven't thought beyond what your side of the communication. As you recall, at the time you were trying to sell us on PLAF. Twinky asked you a reasonable question within the context, to wit, Tell me one thing PLAF has done for you. You flew off the handle and accused her of trying to trick you. Now, if you were selling, say, dietary suppliment, would someone be trying to trick you if they asked you to name something the product has done for you? This is just another rationaalization. In reality, there are no reasons to evade. Your evasion only proves the lack of thought on your part and puts your integrity into question. So what? Again, do you have free will or don't you?
  5. The boldface is your part in it. So your denying you have freedom of will. Saying you had a small part us like saying a nuclear bomb does a little damage. Nobody can drag you into anything you don't want to be involved in. Nobody can make you do anything you don't choose to do, More so over the internet where nobody knows who you are, Like I said, the honest thing to do is to admit your part in the whole thing. You didn't have to answer the threads started by the two posters. But you did. You didn't have to escalate it to a fist fight. But you did.
  6. Your free to choose whichever answer you want to accept. However, I'd question an answer such as Mike's which is based on a class presented by an alcoholic which regularly forced himself on women. I wouldn't trust Saint Vic with any females, none the less my eternal life.
  7. Literally dragged here? That's like saying you were mugged by mail. It takes two to tango. Don't you think the honest thing to do would be to take responsibility for your part of it?
  8. On the contrary, as everyone traces back to Adam and Eve, Jesus Christ was of Adam's bloodline--through his mother, Mary. Mary, was of Adam's bloodline. But he was of Mary, who was of the man, Adam. I still haven't had anyone explain to me how eating of a forbidden tree implies transfer of ownership.
  9. Thanks Rocky, it was my error. I should have thought of Bernie Sanders, democratic socialist. Maybe going on one political party's website and spouting the ideology of the other political party would have been clearer.
  10. The bible says "ALL" not "ALL WITH THE EXCEPTION"
  11. Yah, the whole thing is so unlike your hero worship of Saint Vic And here are a few links on hero worship The Danger of Hero Worship https://www.theodysseyonline.com/hero-worship Hero Worship Always Ends Poorly https://goodmenproject.com/the-good-life/men-and-heroism/hero-worship-always-ends-poorly/ Seems Mike has fallen into the trap of hero worship. He claims otherwise, but the facts bear out the truth Saint Vic stealing others work is acceptable, he says, because everything intellectual belongs to God, so theft didn't exist Saint Vic's violating women is acceptable, he says, because quarterbacks always get the girl. Check the above hero worship links, note where they say people's heros do no wrong. Then look at his two rationalizations for unacceptable behavior. I can name something good Saint Vic did. Can you tell me something evil he did? So your pure evil model was just blown out of the water and my hero worship theory has been proven.
  12. And what was one of the things that left a bad taste in peoples mouth? The dishonesty. The same dishonesty you displayed and were smug about last night.
  13. My guess would be no. Shall we take something a liar says as fact? How do we know when he's telling the truth and when he's lying?
  14. As far as I'm concerned, he could be a member of the Church of Latter Day Smerfs, I wouldn't care. As you were saying, it his journey and his problem. But once he crosses the line and involves me, he makes it my problem. As I've said before, you don't go on atheist sites and try witnessing to them, nor do you go on communist websites to chat up the benefits of capitalism, nor do you go to a socialist website to proclaim the joys of being a republic. Common sense should tell you your going to create a flame war. I dedicated 42 years of my life to PLAF. It was the biggest mistake of my life. Tell me, Allen (to use someone elses metaphor) What if someone told you there was this four star restaurant with the most fantastic food. You go there and you find the food is spoiled and full of roaches and maggots. You watch and the cook doesn't wash his hands. So you realize you've wasted your money. Then you go on the net and someone else is trying to sell how great that four star restaurant is. What do you do? Add to that the hero worship of Saint Vic's dark soul. (I can name good things Saint Vic did; can Mike tell us some evil things he did? Like I said hero worship) Then include Mike's head games (he has a tendancy to insult people, then when he gets the predicted result, he says he wants peace) and dishonesty (claiming posting quotes from PLAF is too much work, yet thinks nothing of posting a half a page on one of his theories; claiming he doesn't know common bibical characters) and you'll see he's busy creating his own problems.
  15. If your honest about spending all that time with PLAF. Once again, if I studied PLAF for 10 years I'd be quoting it off the top of my head. Then there's always your smugness about being dishonest about knowing bibical names that any student of the bible knows. (Those just tuning in: check the last 10 posts) You forgot the one big bit of cartoon naitvete: You hero worship of Saint Vic. As far as your concerned he can do no wrong and you always have a ready excuse for Saint Vic's obviously evil behavior. So then you understand our aversion to PLAF
  16. Says a lot about you, doesn't it? Not only do you do something dishonest, your smug about it. Is this one of the many things PLAF has done for you? Taught you to represent God by being dishonest?
  17. Especially after it was on full display with the last couple of posts. And then you wonder why you can't have civil conversations.
  18. No, context you being dishonest with me. As you would say, both sides being honest is a requirement to having a conversation. If your dishonest with something as simple as bibical names most people studying the bible knows, how do I know whether your being honest with me with anything else?
  19. So then why did you tell me you didn't know them? Once again, you dishonesty is showing So, tell me, is both sides being honest a requiremeent for having a conversation?
  20. You don't know Goliath? You don't know Pontius Pilate? You don't know Herod? And you don't know who the Scribes and the Pharisees are? And yet you want to lecture me on the Bible? You know the story of David (to the extent that you want to twist it to fit your hero worship) yet you never encountered one of the names above? You know about Judas (to the extent again that you can twist it to fit your hero worship) yet you never encountered any of the above? You spent 12 years studying PLAF and you never encountered any of the above?
  21. Once again you let your hero worship get in the way. Your hero worship model is no different than any other model out there. It turns a person who did countless evil deeds into somebody to be admired. Because you apparently can't get beyond your hero worship, you both dodged my questions and, once again, refused to see the holes in your reasoning that you could fly the space shuttle through To wit:
  22. And what's that great good Saint Vic did. A year ago, I spent a year reading most of the posts in this forum, starting with the earliest they had and working my way to the most recent. The closest thing I found was someone, when asked, said the good Saint Vic did was teaching him the Word. That pre-supposes that Saint Vic taught the Word and not Weirwille over the World (WOW). Teaching someone your private interpretation of the bible doesn't even near balances all the lives ruined and all the psychological damage done. And all in the name of God. No, that's a rationalization. Was Stalin an evil man? Was Lenin? Was Hitler? And , by your argument, you know how? They lived even longer ago. Herod, was he evil? What about Goliath? Were the Scribes and Pharisees evil? Was Pontius Pilate evil? Was Judas? How do you know? Again, we have limited accounts of their lives and they lived so very long ago, so by your reasoning...Again, your argument falls flat.
  23. The above line was unneccessary. Obviously you don't know how people have conversations, if you did you wouldn't insult them with a line like the above quote. What was that you were saying about civil conversations? "By gentle deeds the gentle heart is known. Nothing berays a man more than his manners." --Edmund Spenser What is "this"? You mean for being in the forum? Yes. Now its my turn: You obviously have a goal for bring in the forum, what does success look like?
  24. Shouldn't the translation be "Most humans are liars"? The "humans" part of the translation is there to include women. But why the "most"? Well, Jesus Christ was a man, did he lie?
  25. A few in 12 years, pretty anemic. Interesting how you'll argue about anything but the facts. No, you repeatedly dodged the real questions and refused to see the holes you could fly a 747 through in your theories. The easiest way to fade into the woodwork is to fade into the woodwork Once again, you remind me of the guy that walks into a bar, slaps everyone in the face, then when he gets the predicted response he starts whining he wants peace. You want peace? Don't slap people. That's your fault, not mine. So, don't think I'm going to fade into the woodwork. As you would say, I'm going to continue presenting the alternate view
