Karen Carpenter one of the all time great female pop singers .It is just a matter of time until her songs and music will be brought to the forefront again. Much like what happened with Patsy Cline that has sold many more recordings (millions)over 40 years later than when she was alive.

If any of you do songs for weddings one that is still at the top of the list for the young and old alike is We've Only Just Begun.

I have told a few female singers that they should listen and learn from the smooth way and style that Karen had of delivering a song. She understood the lyric 's and convinced you she did.

I recently coached a young lady that sings very well but she thought her voice was not that good

so I played for her

Sing a song make it simple to last the whole day long

Don't worry that is not good enough for anyone else to hear

Just sing sing a song

Good sound advice for all including me

Hi All

Yes we did have some good times almost thirty yeras ago..My JN family always gave their all in all and forever they will have a special place in my heart .

I would like to share with you an update about The White House Across The Street.

About two years ago Chatty Kathy and I were doing some recording work together and Kathy had wriitten a song poem about a mother that had a son in the army overseas and the mother had just received a letter saying he was coming home for Thanksgiving I wish you all could hear it cause your Chatty did a super rendition.

Chatty Kathy and I got to talking how we should send her song along with The White House Across The Street to President Bush .I made up a CD and Kathy mailed it to the President.I told her most likely we will not get a reply .But at least we sent it.

Lo and behold a couple of months later we received an official document from The White House signed personaly by Pres.Bush thanking us for our thoughtfulness.The doucument has the offical White House gold seal and was sent in a flat envolpe made for framing. It now hangs in my recording studio Kathy also has a copy This blessed us a lot that The President Of The United States responded to our heart felt efforts .

Just heard from Christine and she is doing better.Said she is back on her feet and with God's help is ready to take on life again to the max. Praise God.

Thank all of you for your prayers on her behalf .God has heard our prayers. His healing touch is forever with us.

Please keep Christine and Greg in your prayers cause Christine still has some needs to be taken care oif.

Sure am glad you did not tell on me about how when we were looking at home to buy last weekend and how I asked the real estate lady some questions which she answered. But I only heard what I wanted to hear and repeated my take on it to our mortgage lending helper .oops!!

Christine is in Lima Oh.hospital and not doing well at all.

Among other present health problems she has been told she needs a liver transplant.

I talked with her and Greg yesterday and told them you were praying for her. Greg and Christine asked me to tell you all thank you very much for your constant prayers so desperatly needed.

Hello Prayer Partners;

Just talked with Greg Christine's husband and he informed me Christine is not doing well at all.

It has been seven weeks since her surgey and she still has a lot of swelling and is in pain.

She will be gioing back to the hospital this coming Tuesday to find out what the problem could be.

So please continue to pray for her.
