  1. Not only that, it was her first filmed acting role.

character 1:"Captain, this shouldn't be. Our ship's power systems are failing!"

character 2:"Deflector shields failing, phasers going inoperative, sir..."

character 3:"Something is completely immobilizing us, Captain!"

character 4:"Immobilized by the damn Ferengi?!"

character 5:"I need more information! Identify what they are using!"

  2. "Take the garbage out. Every day, take the garbage out...Rick Rodin is

on the mound for the Yankees! He looks into the catcher's mitt, shakes

off the first signal, takes the turn, wipes the sweat off his brow,

    leans back and fires..."

"Shimmy, shimmy cocoa pop! Shimmy, shimmy rock! Shimmy, shimmy cocoa

pop! Shimmy, shimmy rock! I met a girlfriend a triscuit! She said, a

triscuit a biscuit! Ice cream, soda pop, vanilla on the top! Ooh,

Shelly's out, walking down the street, ten times a week! I read it! I

said it! I stole my momma's credit! I'm cool! I'm hot! Sock me in

    the stomach three more times!"

  3. Hi!

I was WOW in Rockford, Illinois in 86-87 with Carol Sue Brown, Charles Ray Juarez and Lloyd Mandula. Is there anyone around that was in Rockford then and remembers them? I happen to know where Charlie is (we were married for 20 years) but lost track of Lloyd and Carol Sue.

I believe that Carole LaPorte was in Rockford during that timeframe - she recently passed away.

  4. This sounds like the NG episode where Picard, Troi and Geordi are on a shuttle craft and pass through temporal anomalies where time flows differently than normal.

It's because there is a nest of young creatures in the Romulan's quantum singularity drive.

The Enterprise explodes, and then time reverses, and then starts moving forward again, and stuff.

  5. I note that when I select text and use the size control, the resulting text is a lot smaller thatn it used to be. For example,

    This is Size = 2

which should be bigger than normal text, but appears to be much smaller.

    George

GstG - if you were to use size="+2" *that* becomes bigger than normal. size=2 gives you what you got, that's normal.

  6. Too hard? Do we need a hint or two?

The first pic is indeed a singer, popular today.

The second pic is a name you would certainly recognize.

Either name would give away the whole thing, as would the name of the video game babe in pic 4.
