  1. (((((ex)))))

There are definitely too many people who have impacted my life - strengthened my resolve and helped me move to a much, MUCH better place thanks to their presence here. You, excathdra, being among the top of the list. :knuddel:

Please, Anyone who would like to stay in touch personally, PM me and I'll give you my Facebook name so we can stay in touch - as little as I do online these days.... Thankfully, I have rediscovered live outside the walls of TWI and my neediness which I was fulfilling with waaaaayyyy too much time online instead of 'real life', but so many of you mean so much to me that I would hate to lose touch completely.

  2. Did you know this was me wrote this or were you just being warm to some random poster? It seemed a little uncanny at the time that you would catch it so quickly.

    :biglaugh:

Just glad you're not my ex! Would love to know the answer, too, though!

  3. Just found out the blood test and chest x-ray came back clean.

    AWESOME, TOMMY! Just awesome!!!!

I lost my friend late last year and so appreciate the support, prayers and insight from you in how to help her and deal with the insidiousness of cancer.

  4. Oh, my goodness! I have no words. :( This place helped me regain my sanity and the patrons, my self-esteem, cognitive skills and so much more. I plan to spend the week-end contacting those I would die if I could not maintain contact in some way.

There is so much more to say, Paw, to let you know how very much I appreciate the cafe, your efforts, the time and effort of the moderators and how very, very much the cafe has meant to me through the years. I will have to compose my thoughts into something more coherent and succinct. Wish I would finally get that winning lottery ticket so we could keep the doors open. :D

All I can say right now, is THANK YOU! LOVE YOU! :jump: What a long, strange trip it's been.

  5. Truth be told, Waysider, my costumes are for the costume party the week-end of Halloween. On the actual Trick-or-Treat date I just sit outside with Vixen in an x-pen and watch the kiddos from the yard while handing out candy to them. I do so love it, though! :D

  6. Do you dress up for Halloween? Do you pass out candy?

Seeing as how it's awfully close to my birthday, I almost always have a costume party (well, not during the TWI-days) and love, Love, LOVE passing out candy to the kiddos.

A couple of years ago I went trailer park with the mumu, pink rollers, fuzzy house shoes, etc... This year I'm going as "Smarty Pants" - with Smarties candy glued onto my pants.

    You???

  7. I did successfully quit quit with Chantix for a few months but became afraid of all the effects and suicides of military after trying it that I quit.

I tried the e-cigs and have found them to be a satisfactory substitute for a strategy of cutting down. My brother tried Blu but didn't like it as much as my "smoketip" brand. He's going to order it and try to quit alongside me.

  8. If you know when you'll be there, belle, I'll try to come in too.

Shellon and I had fun with David the other night. :biglaugh:

would love, Love, LOVE to chat with y'all! I dunno my buddy's rehab schedule but will check tomorrow to help nail down a time. I suspect that I shan't be at her rehab facility too late either way. :)

  9. Some are even now evacuating NC, VA and MD. It's still a little too far out to determine who may be next. It behooves us all to keep our brethren in our prayers for their own safety and no property loss. The economic difficulties being what they are....whatever is taken by this storm, could be gone forever for some folks.

It never hurts to pray - so, let's do it.And let's not forget the coastlines not yet mentioned...and methinks we should all be faithful in this until all danger is gone. But, that's just my opinion.

    Got it!

Living in FL and having survived the year of Charlie, Frances, Ivan and Jean.... I can teel you that it is very wise to become as well acquainted with pre-hurricane measures and taking them. Thanks to TWI and my pre-Y2K preparations, I had all I needed to survive the inconveniences of these guys...... Also, learning about putting my important papers in zip lock bags stored in the washing machine... those kinds of details are important and helpful.

  10. (((((Shellon, Kelly, Samantha)))))

This reminds me for some reason of the saying, "Be extra kind for everyone you meet is in some kind of battle." Your family seems to have had more than your share and your strength, tenacity and care is inspiring. :)

Continuing to pray for Kelly's health and answers for y'all!

  11. I don't remember a penny rule but I do remember Matth3w H@rmon, married to Lauri3 Weirwille, going into a tirade about people who give their ABS in CASH. :realmad:

He complained about having to waste time going to get a money order and paying for said money order to send the ABS to HQ. He called those people selfish and inconsiderate.

  12. Never regret. If it's good, it's wonderful. If it's bad, it's experience.—Victoria Holt

    :cryhug_1_:

No worries, HappyGay! Continue to explore your "new freedom"! You'll see that what TWI taught us about "being out from under God's protection" is b.s.

Psychics aren't bad because of devil spirits or anything like that. Neither are people from other religions, especially those who believe Jesus is God. ;)

Try other things that TWI forbids and you'll see that you're just fine! That you're bigger than a set of legalism and that God is bigger than TWI.
