  1. Wow.... words fail me.

Dooj and Groucho, I am so sorry!

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,

Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

  2. Soul Searcher,

I think it's important to note that at one time TWI was full of very zealous hippie, Jesus-Lovin', God is Great, Love is All We Need" kinda folks. They were gentle, kind, genuinely loving and sincere in their want to help folks. :)

When you have folks with genuinely good, sincere intentions and loads of integrity, you have the foundation for a great organization. Unfortunately, TWI, especially vee pee, craiggers and their cronies, who exploit the good nature and holy intentions of others. That's the beginning of the corrosion of TWI and facilitated the destruction of individual lives.

Depending on the leadership of those wholesome, genuine folks --- some were protected and ignorant of the abuses going on - others were mind-warped ever so slowly into justifying the abusive practices and abused themselves.... even more were fed by the greed monster of what they could gain by "selling out" and getting others to "buy in" to the b.s.

I, myself, don't know where to draw the line. *shrug* I wanted to help folks, but looking back, I turned some "newbies" into the most controlling, emotional blackmailing aresholes there are.... I regret it to this day. At the time, I thought I was doing the right thing and that these were folks I just wasn't "mature enough" to handle. Looking back... they were instrumental in planting those seeds of doubt for me and - in essence - helped me more than I helped them. :)

  3. But, Belle, as you so aptly point out indirectly they have lots of free labor lining their pockets. The math is lame but gives a estimated snapshot at how incredibly wasteful they are, all the while claiming they steward every penny.

Ha! Bean counter that I am, I've been figuring inside sales quotas vs. salaries lately and, I'd have to say it's pretty pathetic and, given TWI's success vs. the $$ outlayed, it's pretty darn pathetic.

Lends much weight to the theory that they are only keeping TWI as viable as they need to in order to support the lifestyle of those able to take notes to AP that say "I'm going shopping tomorrow and need $1,000" ..... Given the amount of ABS tucked away and invested, I'll say TWI will be around for many years to come regardless of the "membership".

BTW, which end of the Goldman-Sachs Fraud were they on? :wink2:

  4. I have numerous threads, posts, papers, personally transcribed tapes, teachings, etc. from WayDale, GSpot, STS tapes, etc. that I'd like to keep in a central location I can reach from anywhere without having to search through beaucoup CDs, computers etc......

I'm on a Mac now and my .doc files don't open on it - it's a pain to clean off my desk so I can get to my pc and wade through stacks of CDs trying desperately not to scratch them in order to access the files. I don't see myself as using pc at home unless absolutely necessary and work is more and more difficult since the network nazi and I don't always see eye to eye.

Anyone know of the best, cheap (preferably "free") way to do this?

    Thanks much!!

  5. Thanks, Karwin. :)

My wary brain is telling me that they are bragging on NZ because there are hardly any US wayfers who can verify any stats they may be throwing at them. <_<

Maybe NZ *did* really have a "successful" term, but how does that compare to days gone past? Is it successful compared to US WDs who don't get any new people? Just getting one or two would be reason to brag, no?

And, I wonder how many make it through the whole class and, if any do, how many of those stick around?

TWI just continues to twist the facts to suit their pockets. What happened to Rise and Expansion? More like Shrinkage! in my not so humble opinion.

  6. Yes, I saw those pics. That's obviously a greasespot leaking out of the wall. Belle, you should write them and tell them that it's most likely to happen "by Midnight" <<snicker>>

    :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

    Thanks! I needed that today!

Y'all are cracking me up. I wouldn't be surprised if people had experiences of one kind or another there. It was, what, a convent? Then a sanitarium - but not the kind for crazy people - just for healing with the water treatment being the most sought after, right? Then taken over by TWI? I don't recall the whole history.

Alls I remember about my time there is craiggers screaming and being so friggin' tired all the time that I could barely keep my eyes open. Mother Mary could've stood in front of me and told me to get the heck outta there and I wouldn't have heard her.

  7. OldSkool, and anyone else interested, Chris's paper is 23 pages long and the link she posted to it in this post at the cafe no longer works. I found my copy at home but think it's too long to post here and I don't find a link to it at the cafe. I'll be glad to e-mail it to whatever address you'd like.

I also have my notes on Rico's teaching to the WC on debt which *starts* with Chris' conclusion and winds a circuitous path among many tangents which utterly confuse and get off the topic of actual monetary debt. The link is basically the notes, but I'll share my copy sans GSpot comments, if preferred.

In addition, here is a link to a thread where I post correspondence between Moneyhands and my Daddy, seasoned banker, and debt.

Huge choo choo train off the subject of research, though. It's a topic I'm passionate about, sorry! I've seen too many of my friends hurt terribly by this idiotic law of TWI. :asdf:

  8. I know that Oakspear and I both presented our research and observations to our leadership that went absolutely nowhere. Granted, it contradicted established TWI doctrine and both of us were considered "problem children" in our respective branches.

My ex submitted some very well thought out - researched and documented information to the Right Rev. Moneyhands and never heard a peep back from him on it. And my ex was one of Moynihan's golden boys. He was crushed that Moneyhands never got back with him on it even after V asked him about it several times.

In fact, after these things, our local leadership told us that he had submitted research to hq that was ignored and would never be acknowledged because "that's how they are".

I countered that it was hypocritical and wrong for them to be like that, but they continued to justify and excuse the behavior. *sigh* You (rhetorical) either continue sitting in vomit allowing a group like that to tell you what to do and what to think or you learn to think on your own which will lead you to a cleaner pasture.

But, But, but they re-searched the debt policy??

    ;)

LOL! That was pathetic and utterly twisted.

Has everyone seen the brilliant debt research information presented by Chris Jordan? It's fabulous - precisely follows TWI's rules for research and clearly shows how wrong the TWI doctrine and teachings on debt are.

I think the link to it may be here at the cafe, if not, I have a copy of it on the home computer.

  9. This popped up on my TWI alerts..... I know the building is old, but don't recall hearing any haunting stories, especially nothing about a wall bleeding oil.....

Here's the link and the Rome City / TWI information is about halfway down with pictures.

Anyone have any stories, experiences or whatnot while you were there?

  10. Awesome!!

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!

Paw, thanks ever so much for keeping the doors open to this safe haven! And thanks for letting me keep my gum under the counter.

MStar, the daffodils are beautiful. :)

  11. Others have come to see the hypocrisy of TWI and their personal beliefs when trying to defend them here. Hopefully that's what's going on with shiftthis. :) Remember Jerry came on here defending PFAL and, thanks to reasonable discussions, debates and study he came to see how foul TWI teachings are.

It's painfully obvious to those of us who have gone through the enlightenment process and come to terms with the 'holier than thou' attitude we were conditioned to have while in TWI that those teachings are still promoted in TWI. The twisting of words, severe condemnation of not just homosexuals but also refusal to accept those who won't "do the word"..... All while acting as though everyone in TWI is perfect and does everything TWI teaches..... not scripture, but TWI legalism.

It's tough to realize that TWI teachings aren't all that accurate and that the behavior within the walls of TWI is not what God would be proud of. I'm ashamed of how I treated folks when I thought the way shiftthis does.

  12. Out, no, life isn't sweet because when bad things happen in TWI it's due to the adversary attacking their arse for being such good little wayfers. :asdf: 'Course if the almighty leadership were doing a better job of "standing in the gap"......

Shellon, I'm going to Mississippi in a couple of weeks. I could make a stop and have a "come to Jesus" meeting with someone if'n ya want. I sure want! :evilshades: What b.s.! How the heck minds get so twisted as to send crap like that to someone, I'll never understand. I don't understand how I could have thought that way for way too many years. Definitely spiritual abuse.

Definitely proof that TWI has not changed one iota. Still abusive, manipulative, judgmental and everything else that's the antithesis of what they claim to stand for.
