    How

the way I recall it, Weirwille claims that if God forgave him and let him live, he'd never preach another negative, not another sermon. He didn't say anything about the other 23 hours in the day, apparently.
  2. I don't think Gotham should be on at 8 pm. It's an ugly violent, hateful show that's seen by a lot of kids, who in my opinion, should not be watching. It's a Batman show, even without Batman. For myself, I find myself more depressed than intrigued by the thing, though I think the future Catwoman is cute, and I can see that kid becoming Batman. Supergirl is a little heavy on the female empowerment focus. You're writing your own story, you'll be saving the man of steel before it's over, yadda yadda. I like the woman playing Supergirl, but am finding myself bored after three episodes. With this show and Gotham, I could write paragraphs on what I think they get wrong and right from my perspective, , but will leave it at not understanding what they have against yellow or unmuted red and blue. Supergirl would look perfect with a few color adjustments on the costume. I am getting to like the Flash a lot. I wasn't crazy about the team of techies at first, but they've grown on me. The Jay Garrick crossover was brilliant (I'm coming, I'm coming, indeed). The teaser for next week with Gorilla Grodd crashing into the frame has just about won me over to this show. Haven't seen enough of Arrow to comment, but suspect it is much like watching the Flash in tone and structure. It still amazes me that Green Arrow has his own tv series. I doubt he is using a boxing glove arrow, though I'd be more inclined to tune in if he did. That's my twelve cents, which was what comics cost soon after I started buying them. That two cent increase from ten cents seemed traumatic at the time.
  3. and ,not that anyone cares, but Robert Young's show after Father Knows Best, was something called 'Window on Main Street', which I remember watching but only remember the title song showing a window on Main St, which I guess was his office.
  4. that was the giveaway Marcus Welby MD, Robert Young went from Father Knows to Best to Marcus Welby. actually he had a one season show in between that no one here is going to get, so I can't put it out as a next question. Whoever googles it can go next. This was a nothing show, but I remember watching it as a kid, must have been nothing else on. The title had something to do with a window.
  5. yes, Leave it to Beaver. I'm showing my age -I thought this was too easy.
  6. no, that would be Miss Crabtree. I thought this was easy. Other current or former students were Gilbert, Eddie, Lumpy. The main characters were brothers.
  7. it would probably ring a bell id I just said Miss landers, the teacher most associated with the show. Whitey, Richard, and Larry were in her class as well.
  8. no, but Dobie Gillis what have been a good one-Dr Burkhov, and Mr Pomfred. same time period though.
  9. since I know I'm right, I'll make the next one that at times took place in school-two teachers Miss Canfield and Miss Landers
  10. It is Alvin. I've been watching some of the episodes lately, and it seems like the majority of the story episodes feature Dave Seville as he tries to keep the chipmunks in line. Even the song segments usually center around Dave setting it up. Probably overstating it, as Alvin was clearly the star of the show, but that was just my impression. The inventor is Clyde Crashcup, who's segments were funnier than the chipmunks.
  11. good guess , but not Bullwinkle, though that has been ruined plenty over the years. This starred a trio of characters who are usually more annoying than entertaining. The original cartoon was way better than anything that came after, and as I said, featured a songwriter, and an incompetent inventor as well.
  12. The show has been redone, and altered so much that it's difficult to recall that this was a very witty, original cartoon in it's first go around. Kids today only know them in their cgi persona.
  13. In it's original format, this cartoon was more about the beleaguered songwriter, than the star of the show. It also featured the world's worst inventor.
  14. I forgot that it was my turn, I also don't have a show. If anyone has something before I can think of one feel free to jump in.
  15. Gigantor, Astro Boy, and no idea of the 3rd
  16. sorry MRAP-I know nothing more than what I said. I'll assume you live outside the US if state initials are that much of a mystery.
  17. Cathy married Steve Strzepek many years ago. They ran CT for a long time, and may have moved back there. As far as I know, she's is very happy and well these days.
  18. it wasn't like Thunderbirds-it was Thunderbirds.
  19. they are characters who are brothers on the show. last name is Tracy. Each one has a special vehicle that defines them.
  20. I never watched it, but it sounds like Black Sheep Squadron which somehow became Baa Baa Black Sheep
  21. ok new one Peggy Bundy leaves home and turns to the dark side.
