  2. Howdy George. 1st Lt. Dobbs from Catch-22 was Martin Sheen. That's my guess!
  3. Ashes to ashes....I believe! "This is the day of the expanding man That shade is my shape there where I used to stand"
  4. Mr. K makes a good point by shifting the responsibility to the military. Who's to say what has been developed in the last 10 years? The war gods have not been idle. Saw a recent video where one technician is controlling a flock of quad drones while they maneuver like a flock of birds. Wouldn't it be cool to have a glimpse of life a hundred years from now? -rrb
  5. Awesome album! The back story of Who's Next is interesting also. Townsend's "Lifehouse" project. -rrb
  6. Hi Oldiesman: Interesting topic, for sure. I've never seen a UAP nor do I know anyone who has. A few years ago the Navy released the now famous footage of top-gun flyers playing with the maybe-other-wordly zip-zaps. I once was told (circa 179) by a corps member that UFO's were tricks of the adversary, or so saith VPW. Like you, I'm not sold on any one theory. I guess VP's explanation is as valid as mother ships, alternative dimensions, and secret government projects. Whatever the explanation, there's not much that can be done about it and no profit in worrying about it. But it is enticing to think about the possibilities! -rrb
  7. Hey Human; been gone a few days and read the thread this morning. Couldn't resist chiming in! WordWolf is up!
  8. Yeah...Fatima of the Seven Veils...swingin'est number one dancer! "I'll give you everything and more and that's for sure..."
  9. Oh yeah....Ray Stevens!! Sheb Wooley had some humorous songs in a similar style.
  10. Another tough one! I can only think of three actors who played Christ....but none of them played Daddy Warbucks. Eliminate Jim Caviezel, Max von Sydow or Willem. I guess that could be considered a hint to the other players, so let me know if I shouldn't do that. (As in: "easier to beg forgiveness than permission")
  11. Ace Frehley....I'll be danged! Just found it on youtube and had a good laugh. Hadn't seen that since the 80s sometime when I was cleaning/repairing condos in Breckenridge. Got to wonder if the rest of the Kiss guys thought it was funny too. Good challenge, WordWolf!
  12. With Goodfellas I'm familiar....the other films not so much. Wild guess.....Ray Liotta... but I don't think it's correct.
  13. "I___I'm so in love with you whatever you want to do is all right with me...."
  14. Had a terrific crush on Pet Clark when I was a senior in! highschool and she was Downtown!
  15. Chockfull hit the bullseye! Through the smokescreen of scripture and slick wording, it's all about the money.
  16. Ahhhhh.... couldn't contain myself and looked it up! Rest in Peace, Girl! Good choice, Raf!
  17. Good one George! Didn't recognize any of the characters except Joad. Eric Masters Sgt. Elias Allen Ward Jesus Christ Bobby Peru Virgil Cole Paul Smecker Capt. John Darius Gerhard Hardman
  18. 'I have a dim recollection of the song/video....bunch of people in a bar, but I can't recall the title or band...and the bar recollection could be way off in left field. Tough one, WordWolf! Good mental exercise!
  19. I guess all you M&As are "forgiven" if you've been invited to "come & see". From what I hear, they won't even let you drive by the place. But then again, why would you want to?
  20. Tom Joad.....would that be Henry Fonda in Grapes of Wrath?
