He is a very fine person and did invest his income wisely. He is also very thankful for the job. But the company is very old and outdated. Another is much better suited for the contract. The fight is for their jobs not for what is best for the country and the tax payer. And because of the product they are all extreemely patriotic. ps: Galen misspelled a few words also. lol

I ask this because I have a friend that has always been a critic of Gov. overspending especially the waste in the military. Just so happens he got a high paid job for a military supplier and does nearly nothing all day and he laughs about it all the way to the bank. But...his company is about to loose the contract and it will mean a loss of his job. Suddenly he is not so thrifty with gov. spending and want's to keep his high pay, no work job. He is still patriotic but he blames Clinton for cutting back on defence suppliers. Hmmmm...Isn't GWB in office now?

If you had a very high paid job that supplied the U.S. military with services but another company did a better job at a lesser amount of money would you mind getting laid (off) for the sake of Patriotism? You wave a flag every day and support GWB in his war effort but when it comes down to the nitty-gritty and you will loose your entire life style, would you give it up if it was to the benifit of your Country? You could easily get a job at 1/3 the pay with no benifits but would you fight to keep your company alive for the higher pay? Or would you say..."My Country First" and agree to give the work to another company because it is best for the USA? added (off)lol

"What about evacuation? Have you thought about where you'd go, and how you'd get there? Would the roads be passable or choked with traffic" Many of us here already live in areas that most Americans would want to go to in case of a major attack.Sorry but if you choose to live in a danger zone then you should be prepared to stay there.I chose a simpler life style with a smaller pay check to feel safer and freer from the woes of a congested life style. We are a well armed state so stay home.
