  1. IT'S THE SAME OLD EXCUSE...

My first EVER large way meeting, the Dr himself eyeballed me for some time from the side of the stage in Nashville, TN. (I remember thinking, who is that guy, and why is he looking at me... where the HELL is that girl that brought me here... she should be done in the bathroom by now....should I leave? I promised to save her seat...)

Trying to enjoy the music... Claudette was singing I think... this old guy walked right up to me and asked if the seat next to me was taken... (this was odd, because there were several OTHER seats open in front of me, on the other side of me, down the row, behind me) So, I told him the truth, I was saving it for the girl that brought me...

THIS WAS NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER. The answer to that question could only be YES or NO, as he YELLED ... and I mean YELLED... it shook up even the people behind me... people stopped talking amongst themselves... it was very quiet

He walked away, seated himself on and end seat in another row, turned slightly in my direction, and stared at me.

Since I didn't know who he was, and I didn't really want to show that he shook me up, I remained seated and thought several times to flick him off :biglaugh:

After seeing him on stage, I was glad I was 'cool' about it... everyone seemed to really like the guy :(

    Sorry... off topic there~

Honestly, the Way has taught me there is an acceptable excuse for bad behavior:

Taken straight from Romans 7:19 & other places...

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do."

    :realmad:

    Where is free will?

    Don't we have power?

Are we able to kick some b*tt?

Will God himself help us whenever we ask?

The writing on the stone continues to pass the excuse on...

  2. Our first experience with Ro*tel was last year.

We like refried beans, and serve it frequently for just about any meal. Our Sam's Club has a LARGE package of the Ro*tel original diced tomatoes & green chilies. It seemed like a good pantry item...

Refried beans can get boring, so while looking in the pantry, thinking about 'how' to make those beans more interesting, this family favorite was born~

2 one pound cans refried beans

    1 10oz can Ro*tel original (juice too)

    Mix, Heat & enjoy!....

Wonderful as a dip, over eggs, on toast, with other veggies, stuffed in celery sticks or lettuce leaves, drizzled over nachos, layered with rice in stuffed peppers,... my favorite is a slice of tomatoe, bean mixture and a jalapeno on top!

The first time we all were wondering what was so dang HOT!

5 out of 6 of us love it.... the 5 year old just has a nibble or two :)

  3. Hey Tom :)

Once it's clicked and opens in a new page, hold your curser over it- a small square orangish box will appear with arrows on each corner- click on that expansion box to view at normal size.

It's a collection of children's writings to God... funny

    :B)

  4. The number of request on the Amsterdam site is somewhat large~

    17394462 requests

Must be a popular place. They even have a money making program to reward you for bringing in customers. There are 26 different streaming banners to copy and paste to help bring more sales from your web page. They call it 'The 'high' way to earn money'

Of course I'm not promoting this type of activity~

  5. Was never aware of the price of such things... but it does seem like the cost goes up with the risk involved. It can't be that the material actually costs that much more...

Like most things, if you do it yourself, you'll save $

"Cannabis seeds and marijuana seeds straight from Amsterdam.

We offer high quality cannabis seeds and marijuana seeds at affordable prices.

Our strains are selected by dutch top breeders.

    Discreet stealth delivery world-wide!

We ship all marijuana seeds in crush proof CD-ROM sealed envelops with no indication to the contents.

All packages are shipped with international priority mail.

All seed-packages contain 10 marijuana seeds"

Could be an interesting site if you're into that sort of thing~

Can their address be posted here? Or is it already known? ;)

HOW DANGEROUS IS MARIJUANA COMPARED WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES?

LOWEST TOXICITY 100% of the studies done at dozens of American universities and research facilities show pot toxicity does not exist. Medical history does not record anyone dying from an overdose of marijuana (UCLA, Harvard, Temple, etc.).

Friends of mine were just there. They called Amsterdam the Disney Land for Adults...

If you're into this sort of stuff, the web site has some detailed info that I've never heard of~

  6. Hello everyone!

Health and healthy living is one of my dearest subjects. I have experienced good and bad health, and certainly enjoy excellent health by far the most.

BUT..... Getting and maintaining excellent health is HARD WORK!!! Maybe that's an understatement~

In America it seems that our health is under attack daily. 24 hour, non-stop attacks. Most Americans have cowared to the flow of lies, and the sickness and disease related problems prove it.

To take charge of our bodies and feed them the right stuff is to stand against the normal flow. It is a lonely place most of the time, yet the benefits are well worth the effort.

Currently I'm engrossed in the book 'Eat To Live' by Joel Fuhrman, M.D.

For anyone interested in enjoying healthy, disease free living, this man has put together some thought provoking information that is easy to understand.

It seems that food has become one of the top addictions in America. We enjoyed being served, and the least amount of work done by us in the kitchen the better.

Perhaps we've been dooped by the 'food industry' into thinking that maybe, just maybe there is something in their stuff that is okay...

From experience, I'm seeing that back to basics is the best. Water only fasting will allow our bodies (for the majority) to heal themselves. (and get rid of all that fat)

Anything chemically added to any of our food will only make our bodies work harder trying to 'deal' with what we just put in our mouth.

Why can't we stay away from stuff we know isn't really 'good' for us?

Why do we continue to overeat, and down empty calories that don't feed our cells?

Why do we think about food so often?

Too many people are very sick and on medication because they can't seem to stop eating the wrong things~ and the medications are weakening their internal organs.

We are digging our graves with a fork & knife~ an old saying... seems to be true.

    An addiction?

There is a way to get out it.

Another Site with excellent informational material:

    http://www.healthpromoting.com/Home/home.htm

We ordered the book and DVD "The Pleasure Trap" from this place.

Does it make anyone else mad out there, to see the fast food industry making billions every year, knowing their product is just some dead crap.

Our children are being ripped off. We see it daily. Parents too busy trying to make enough money to afford all the 'stuff', or some just to pay the bills, and the 'eating' is one of the first areas to suffer.... prepackaged, dead, salty, chemically treated, fatty crap is served with a smile... no wonder there are so many kids needing 'pills'....

If you feed your body 'dead food' you're not going to enjoy excellent health~

    :) with love,

    Safari

  7. Death seems like the only suitable price to pay for such horrible crimes.

People like this are killing a part of the children involved. They should pay with their life.

Maybe enough noise to congress may be helpful~

  8. Thank you for the Birthday Greetings & beautiful cake~ I'm feeling so special

Kids & I have moved to the far West Side of Michigan~ walking distance to the BEACH!!!... seemed like a long journey from hell, but life is beginning to get sweet again.

Love to each of you, :love3:

    Safari

I'd insert a picture here, but I've forgotten how to do it~

  9. Catcup said~

    quote:
This past weekend, someone from within TWI called my house to talk to me "regarding the Corrodi thread," but I was not home.

Myself, being unfamiliar with everyone here... would this be a friend of yours?

Yes... this does make me go hummmmmm....

and think Magneli (when Rico was mentioned)..... icon_cool.gif Maybe one of his jobs is keeping up with the Online 'stuff'...

  10. HUBBY'S DINNER

A woman was enjoying a good game of golf with her girlfriends. "Oh, no!" she suddenly exclaimed. "Look at the time! I have to rush home and fix dinner for my husband! He's going to be really ticked if it's not ready on time."

When she got home, she discovered all she had in the

cupboard was a wilted lettuce leaf, an egg, and a can of cat food, and she didn't have time to go to the supermarket. In a panic, she opened the can of cat food, stirred in the egg, and garnished it with the lettuce leaf -- just as her husband walked through the door.

She greeted him warmly, then watched in horror as he sat down to his dinner. To her surprise he seemed to be really enjoying it.

"Darling, this is the best dinner you've made me in forty years of

marriage! You can make this for me any old day."

Needless to say, every golf day from then on, the woman made her husband the same dish. She told her golf partners about it, and they were all horrified. "You're going to kill him!" they exclaimed.

Two months later, her husband died. The women were sitting around the clubhouse one day when one of them said, "You killed him! We told you that feeding him that cat food every week would do him in! How can you just sit there so calmly knowing you murdered your husband?"

The wife stoically replied, "I didn't kill him. He fell off the

window sill while he was licking his butt."

  11. Nice post Thomas~

After reading through, maybe I have no clue who Jesus Christ is...

As a matter of fact~ while reading on a cult page about TWI, most of the 'bad' things they listed that this cult believes, I thought was true.

I must have a lot of re-learning to do.

    Enjoying the discussions here.

    Thanks to all~

  12. Yes~ Husband and I were at that Advanced Class. Craig went on, for hours it seemed, about the happenings in New Knoxville, and how the grass being cut there was just as much The Word of God as the Bible itself! I guess we all needed to be taught how to drive and be aware of the unfamiliar surroundings.

That particular class had a very LONG research conveyed to us from a book... Death in the tall grass, or something like that...

Someone tried to steal our car in the hotel parking lot during that class... it seemed down right wierd that my husband and I would put so much into being there, leaving our three children behind at the time... So much effort for what? To hear some guy yell... I think he was fooling around at the time... he looked awefully guilty walking around... hardly any eye contact... spoke mostly to the pretty girls & they were so happy to hug him... yuck!

  13. What a funny little icon...

On the more serious side though....

There are MANY followers in TWI that are FROZEN in their little spot with-in TWI, because they don't think there is life after TWI!!!

    I've had conversations with MANY!

What would we do? This is all we know! We only know believers. There isn't a fellowship or Church that believes the way we do...

We had friends that lived in Ohio as new WOW's (forgot the new term), saw the horrible, disgusting effects of TWI on people in the surrounding communities... and they LEFT!!!

BUT... not for too long... they couldn't function, and found the people that got them 'in the Word'... leadership in another State... these leaders saw what was & IS going on, but they STAY, because they know NOTHING ELSE.

This leaderships advise is to ignore the bad & take the good, and don't let on that you know about TWI's evil doings... just stick around & live the word & love people in your area... TWI will never know~

We don't hear from those friends... they are back in... Intimidated again perhaps icon_confused.gif:confused:-->

Or maybe during our exit... we had too many negative topics on our mind... didn't speak enough Word at the time...

  14. I do recall GREAT distaste being conveyed about those rejecting Jesus Christ as God's son...

This included those that weren't interested in PFAL, WOAP & TWI ~ if someone wasn't interested in what we had to say, they were REJECTING GOD and his Word~

    icon_confused.gif:confused:-->

  15. Wasn't sure where to post this~

Is there anyone in the Las Vegas area that would like to puppy sit while we are packing & moving? A cute, 4 month old Yorkie-Poo.

If so, e-amil me icon_smile.gif:)--> or postings fine too~

  16. Sounds like the 'Followers' are still on a VERY short leash~

TWI leadership must continue to treat their flock/followers/brothers & sisters... (call them what you will, but DON'T call them MEMBERS icon_rolleyes.gif:rolleyes:--> ) like DOGS... just like VP said, the BEST book to read on how to train your children is a good DOG training book... the leadership must use these tactics on their followers too icon_rolleyes.gif:rolleyes:-->

  17. How stupid!

Let's start stocking up on sharp kitchen knife sets... whole sets from China, only $4.00 for 12 icon_smile.gif:)--> (Min order 1 freight container = 200,000)

Then sell them on e-Bay... for $15.00 plus $2.50 shipping a set... we'd more than triple our money...

    Anyone interested?

    wink2.gif;)-->

  18. ROA???? I don't remember that exact ROA~ BUT I do remember being told on SEVERAL occasions that TWI had NOTHING to hide, and their financial's were available to view at any time.

Even passed this information on to my parents, who were VERY concerned about my involvement. And here I actually believed what I was saying was true~

    redface.gif:o-->

Glad they aren't the 'I told you so' type love3.gif

  19. Now I'd like to hear their show...

My prior comment was for the young Bates... When addressing a letter to a young boy, we were taught it should be 'Master' and then their name... redface.gif:o-->

We did everything according to proper standards in TWI don'tcha know confused.gif Brings funny things to mind~
