  1. Well one thing is for sure folks...Baghdad is NOT heaven!

I couldn't watch the show either Marypoppins so don't feel bad.

Heck, I always liked Barbra Walters...

"I like the way she talks"...ala Karl on Sling BLade...LOL

Enough silliness! It's like the Word says, "everyone has a song" In this case everyone has an idea how to get to heaven.

"Thanks God for making me a citizen"!

Have a very Merry Christmas EVERYONE!

If you would like your polictically correct version...visit your local secular retailer this holiday season.

Something tells me I've mispelled some words in here, but oh well!

    see y'all around the chatroom

  2. Hey y'all this is a great thread...any idea were an ideal hammered dulcimer dealer is located? I have always wanted to learn to play one.

My forte if you will, is 6-string acoustic...have a little darling Yamaha with me over her, but a real sweet Gallagher (Doc Watson model) at home.

Had the pleasure years ago to play a 1904 F-holed Martin...arched-top. It's a shame that type of aged sound can't be built into an instrument, huh?

Oh well...always remember this, "You can pick your friends or you can pick your nose...but you shouldn't pick your friends nose"

    ...Happpy Pickin'

  3. Yawn...Slurp-slurp

The proxy server BB is what I am on to the best of my understanding...the area I am stationed is, how shall I say...Locked down pretty tight?

Thanks for the suggestion though, maybe something will come available.

Coolchef...thanks for the offer...there is a new unit here and I suppose no soldier in his/her right mind would turn one down...thanks

If you come up with some, send to: John Hatzimichaels

Your heart, prayers and words of encouragement are greatly treasured and appreciated...all of you...now would some one help get my finger out of my ear?

 :P :(

  4. Being a frequent flyer myself...I was so thankful when I watched the take on the internet...That crew deserves a cup of coffee, a raise and an invitation to the weenie roast

    Good job boys

  5. okay...12 cups of coffee, a pack of smokes, 17 patients & 7 hrs later...I am sitting down enjoying cup #13 (no wonder I have gray hair)

This is just too cool y'all...

So, since I cannot attend the weenie roast...raise-a-bun for me..LOL

    Check-out the cool attachment

  6. The cards were received a day before I was transferred to another camp...the first sargeant was thrilled and I gave him your address, he said he was going to write.

I called and talked to...uh...the secretary, I forgot his name.

Again, thank you-- thank you-- thank you to all the guys there...

The prayers are very appreciated too
