You could all pray for NK Native. I am not sure she would want to be detail anything specific, but she probably would love knowing you are praying for her health and job.

I am not sure of the year, but when the credit union started up and VP had them offer some low interest loans for houses in NK. Quite a few staff that where corp purchased houses, then sometime after the second large group of staff were told to leave in 88 the houses started to go up for sale. If I remember there were probably 7 houses owned by corp staff members that were sold within say 6 month period. The house were all purchased at a reasonable price. A friend told me the small little houses in NK are going around 90,000-100,000. Many of those sold by the corp staff went pretty cheap.

This also bothers me, but I know that I was in the middle of the early 70's and drugs and sex was just common place. I really did not like all this and was kind of lonely. Parents in the middle of ugly divorce and a rather stressed family life. Lots of responsibility with helping to raise my little brothers and then along comes one of my good friends from high School talking about the Bible and it's answers and etc etc. It was like a family I did not have. For a few years I kind of just came to Twig when I wanted too and then as all my HS friends (there was about 8) started classes and fellow laborers and etc etc they pressured me more and more for involvement. I was smart enough to finish my education program following HS, get a job, but not smart enough to walk away. Eventually it took me in and then 17 years later I returned to real life. I also questioned the things I saw at Emporia and HQ and things personally I experienced. Once you are in the groove of the whole scene it's hard to swim to the shore. Eventually questioning sent all of us from HQ in groups at a time as LCM endeavoured to remove everyone that no longer would just except or support his thinking. Athletes of the spirit - was more than I could handle watching previews week after week at sunday night services. I was happy to leave HQ and knew it was coming soon. I think it is like living with an abusive spouse and hoping tomorrow will be better, but only the abuse is worst the next time. The fear that LCM and all his gang used held people in. The household, the protection for your family- for some it was scarey and more fearful to stay then to leave and someone die. Even leaving TWI was something I wanted it took years to work though all the junk. Thankful GS gave me a place to understand that I could revisit my questioning and express myself and find other smart & loving people that were taken in.

Dear Linda Carter There is more than rumor here that VP used young women for his benefit. You are foolish to think that many women that were used by VP or others will not be anything but upset by your attitude. It did happen. Let us not forget that.

So TWI now has exknowledged that GS and WD are real and that obviously those "in" and "out" must visit the site. Posting a Open Letter to JP instead of suggesting that there is information on TWI website I think will open the opportunity for more "innies" to visit GS just to read the letter to JP and since the site has other information - it seems a like a gamble to me for TWI. It would have been interesting to have been in the second floor conference room listening to how they were going to handle JP posted information. Then finally coming to an some agreement to have to post an open letter to defend themselves on GS with all the words correct and written by their lawyer. TWI has then excepted the fact that GS does effect TWI. Not knowing all the intimate details of who has this power of attorney and who agreed on what does not really make a difference to me. Watching how they controlled Mrs.W life and prevented free and open communication to her children. That her children did not have access to come and visit at will or make all the phone calls etc or just to take there mom on a day trip speaks for itself. When there Brother Don died TWI controlled the time the family "out of twi" could be grounds how much time they could spend etc. If they controlled this outwardly - what privately did they control about Mrs. Wierwille and her care. My mother took care of my stepfather for 3 years at home when he had ALZMIERS until he was not able to get out of bed into his wheelchair. If she would have had 24 hour nursing she would have kept him at home where he loved his own belongs and watching TV even if he did not know what he was watching. Do you suppose that many of the innies are really pointly asking BOD for some real answers to why this happened to Mrs. Wiewille and they want the truth.

When Waydale was up and running I frequently read the forums, but never posted. One day as I was driving home from work I pasted a DETOUR sign and said that is kind of what happened in my life. I took a Detour that last 17 years too long.
