  1. Sorry for the delay.  Let's pick it up again with:

"Smiling in the bright lights, coming through in stereo
When everybody loves you, you can never be lonely
Well, I will paint my picture
Paint myself in blue and red and black and gray

All of the beautiful colors are very, very meaningful"

    But then there's "Abbey Road".

    And, then there's "Rubber Soul".

    And then "Revolver".

    And then "Sgt. Pepper".

From what some consider to be the ultimate Beatles album.

Of course, some would consider "Revolver" to be the ultimate Beatles album and in which case, would this be Tomorrow Never Knows?  I could also be completely off track too.  Beatles ologist's opinion's will vary about which Beatles album is their best album.  If I'm allowed two guesses my second guess would be She Said She Said.

  4. After seeing those lyrics and reading the title of it (maybe that's not the title mentioned in waysider's post, but it's close) I can probably figure out who the group was, but it's going to take me a little time.

Right now, though, I can't place the group.  I think I can get it, if time doesn't run out.  Good boogie song, good beat.  Not ~Paul Revere~, not ~The Grass Roots~, maybe ~The Yardbirds~?

  5. I don't know, is a quote from a Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn movie from 1963, considered easy or not?

It's "Charade".  End quote of the movie.  Audrey Hepburn is in the office of (Brian Cruikshank (alias Peter Joshua, Alexander Dyle, and Adam Canfield) Cary Grant who proposes to her.  Hense the line.

I'll open this up to a FREE POST.

The key to this song is knowing that the singer rode on a bicycle and roller skates.  Hard to do.

Did this confuse anyone?  If so, sorry, but all I'm going to say is that it's the only thing she could do half right and it's turning out all wrong.

It sounds Beatle-ish, but I'm probably far off.

On second thought, not too far off.  It's just not a Beatles song.  I think you guys may kick yourselves though if you don't get this.

    While the sun is bright
    Or in the darkest night
    No one knows
    She comes and goes

Don't question why she needs to be so free
She'll tell you it's the only way to be
    She just can't be chained
To a life where nothing's gained

There's no time to lose, I heard her say
Catch your dreams before they slip away
    Dying all the time
    Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
