  1. Hey Roy...I just 'clicked'...Tale ban...taleban God bless ya Roy, and you'll be blessed to know we changed our ministry name recently
  2. OldSkool, you mean to tell me MeHell kept the sheepskin on for the WHOLE YEAR ?! I know he had a 'deal' with HQ that he was only to be there for ONE year, guess he missed his little polynesian wahine ( I wish you could read it in the original ) Heya Twinky, I liked the guy too, til he called me up at campus and screamed down the phone that I had a 'coconut marriage'. I guess he was envious
  3. Thankyou Roy, I was unaware of this latest event in the Gaza and palestinian area.To all those who vehemently pour scorn on Israels attempt to limit and neutralise Hamas, I say, you are indirectly supporting this creeping cancer on freedom of speech, freedom of learning, freedom of choice ( imho )
  4. Many thanks to the Oirish git country co-ord. who kicked us out because he was terrified we would open our mouths about the shennanigans we saw going on at campus during our in-res. year ! We wouldn't have, because we were still pretty 'sold out' to the ministry. Boy oh boy, did us a HUGE favor
  5. I don't always agree with what Abigail says on here...but i think in this case ( in my mind ) she's 'right on the button. It seems James is happy to side with VPW on the Aramaic side of things coz that helps push his 'barrow of course.Infiltrate & prozelyte is obviously still an avenue of recruitment james enjoys...off to check on the links Abigail suggested.
  6. maybe this post should be entitled " things we shouldn't have said " ? my cousin living in a way home was asked by her hfc to address him as Robert. She was used to calling him 'Bob' before he was made a hfc and after she moved in and made the error of referring to him as 'Bob' once too often, was locked in her room by him for 14 hours to 'think before opening her mouth oh the sweetness of living with 'believers'
  7. I was always taught that the word hate as quoted by Jesus there, meant to love less (says that in the front of Bullinger Bible anyways) I prefer, personally, to attempt living love with God, friends & family, being led by the spirit & not by the law.
  8. Torah...Kosher...Nazarene sect...Observances...laws...Sacrifices... nah, I'll just continue sticking with "loving God with all my heart, soul, mind & strength" Most of the other stuff is covered by that, thanks anyway James
  9. Hi jeff, fairly new here and sorry i never got to 'meet ya ' It's a long way down here in the land of 'downunda' anyways It breaks God's heart when families fall apart, what can I say...twi nearly suceeded with me & my family, bas*ar@s.I do wish you all the best & will s.i.t. for you & your boy as I think of it.I have a 7 y.o. son, you hang in there, do whatever it takes, & remain strong & loving for him. Honestly, after what I went through, I thought afterwards IF it had gone 'the other way' I would prob be behind prison bars for what I would have done to a cupla twi demons, but then our prison sentences are pretty lenient compared to the States eh ! All the best sir
  10. Hi James :) I'm just trying to get this right...so it is the Torah and NOT the New Testament that is right ? And the purpose of getting 'into' the Torah is...? Does it fall into the category of "rightly dividing the Word of truth" I mean, I'm saved and I know it I'm saved and I know it (sorry, couldn't help that one )!! I'm saved, I speak in tongues (what's your handle on that btw) I have a more than abundant life, I was personally present when my wifes' niece was instantaneously raised out of a coma, nearly dead, I have seen numerous physical healings and word of knowledge manifestations, so...what is the profit in ditching the N.T. for the Torah ?
  11. Another thought too...whether it was the jailer and his household who received salvation or Cornelius and his family, it was through baptism and confession and was somewhat instantaneous, not some sort of doctrinal and practical apprenticeship ( unless I've mistaken what you are proposing ?) No-one really denies Jesus initially 'came to his own', Israel, however, 'his own' rejected him and thereby paved 'the way' for the Gentiles to receive him and everything that entails.
  12. Galatians 5:1-4 tells me that if I try to justify myself THROUGH the 'law' I am fallen from grace, rather, I am to stand fast in the 'liberty' of Christ Jesus. From what I see, the Apostle Paul wrote way too much about Grace versus Law for me to accept he spent 3 years attempting to 'perfect' himself in order to be able to join what you are purporting to be the 'true church' of Christ
  13. Too true Old Skool ! many did follow us out the door, some of them now still doing church, others not, but hey, the important thing is they LEFT
  14. How about this one... we, the way of New Zealand have imposed a 'two drink limit'on everybody because X & Y are alcoholics. we heard this had been said about us AFTER we had left (of course) The Irish cowardly git running the show had a lot to say about us AFTER we had left.We were the Corps couple who left because we had had enough of the double standards going on at Indiana Campus ( extra marital affairs etc.. )
  15. I think like Twinky, so very, very thankful we were asked to leave. In our case the country co-ord became paranoid that we would 'spread the news' about all the adultery and partner swapping we SAW going on around us ...no matter that he was having his 'bit on the side'. I guess these mini mogs knew what was going on at twi hq and thought why can't they have their piece of action downunda
  16. how about...our country co-ord. at the time (married) and going out for the evening with a young single mom from our 'household'.gets bach with her around 2 in the morning and very flustered to find us waiting up for her !! "oh,er,um...we ran out of petrol"(gasoline) ... yeah right
