Tony and Ruth Kliewer are two of the most wonderful christians I have ever met. I lived with them for nearly a year in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1980-1981. When the Way purchased the Rome City (Indiana campus) location, they made a large donation that helped make that purchase possible.
Unfortunately, I have not seen them in over 20 years. However, if I was to meet them again today, I am sure it would be like I saw them yesterday and it would not matter that they are in the Way and I have been "out" for nearly 20 years. They were that special and I will always love them.
They were my 1st twig leaders (that was before "twig coordinators", for all you youngsters) back in 72 in Bellevue, NE. I miss them. I hope they get lots of goodies in heaven and I hope they're happy, healthy & basking in God's Love wherever they are.

Last I heard.....they went to Camp Gunnison as staff employees in 2004.
