I’m with you on the benevolent nature of God – and am proud to say I’ve shed the straitjacket that TWI put on my faith. I no longer pursue a career in telling God what to do, how to do it and when to do it. If He wants to turn lemons into lemonade, limeade, first aid, or Gatorade – that’s His prerogative. My emergency-prayers usually go something like this: “Lord, I’d really appreciate some help here.
