Apparently that was how the British press interpretted what the Pope said ... which maybe was what he mostly meant when he spoke of the right to change religion. I missed this from that article ...

A poll earlier this year of more than 1,000 young adult British Muslims found that 36% believe those who convert to another faith should be punished by death.

YIKES .... So much for tolerance ... doesn't that make "mark and avoid" seem kinda wimpy?

A problem with this is that most Muslim leaders have denounced murder altogether, but they don't make the news because they aren't killing people.

Any examples of Muslim leaders who have publically denounced the murder of those who leave Islam? Sine you say most Muslim leaders, and you know about them, you should have some examples.

If Muslim leaders heed that English Bishop's call, then my question will be answered without Mister P-Mosh having to bother. However, evidently that has not happened in England or elsewhere.
