Firefox 3.0

I know there's some Firefox fans out there so I wanted to plug the newest version of the browser, version 3.0.

If you haven't tried it already, I highly recommend you do! It's super-fast and I decided I liked it better than Safari within about the first ten minutes of use.

If you've never tried Firefox, it's way better than anything Microsoft offers and you'll have way less problems with pop-ups, spyware, etc.

As much as I prefer Firefox,

I have a problem with 3.0 slowing pc's when multiple tabs are open.

The 2.x versions do NOT, and I happily use that.

I've seen the same with both versions. The problem isn't multiple tabs as much as it you have a tab opened to a site that does continuous refreshes like CNN or FoxNews. It doesn't handle memory well under those circumstances. Now oddly enough I suspect the real problem is with MS Windoze. I have no problems with Firefox running on Linux but on Windoze it seems to have memory reclamation issues.
