It's Tomato time of year

Everything was good in this endeavor..

I cooked up most of these tomatoes on a coleman stove outside. I got about three gallons of fuel for about two bucks at a rummage sale.. it was older fuel.. but it burned really HOT..

I have not looked at the chemistry involved.. but I think pure naphthalene burns hotter than the new formulation.

We rented a sod cutter for a day.. and it worked for about three quarters of the garden before it died.

The company refunded 100 percent of the rental fee.

but try cutting sod by hand for what was left..

we actually did it..
