They may have some as people bring them in all the time, thinking they are only worth 50 cents. Maybe they are, but maybe they aren't. Employees usually are silent but will offer what they have in stock and sometimes you may get back a variety of coins containing valuable silver. Make sure to ask if there's any around from ALL tellers in the bank because one teller may have some while another may not.
