That is less than four, or five hundred years old. Preferably older.

They have..

already demoralized, assaulted, denigrated and done worse to their very own followers..

robbed..

etc.

Well then, you know exactly what to expect, don't you?

Maybe I've out done myself here

:biglaugh:

but I am humbled by the more relevant and historic saying:

Quote

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is " never get involved in a land war in Asia"

Some of those older outfits might have vintage appeal working to their advantage, but, never forget, VP Wiernerwille, himself, told us....You are the BEST!
They say that there's a perfect chord
That David played and it pleased The Lord.
But, you don't really care for music,
Do you?

I can't recall where I heard this, quite possibly here in GSC:

Q: What is a religious cult?
A: A religion that has not yet gained political clout.

It's quite true.
"I would go to the deeps a hundred times to cheer a downcast spirit. It is good for me to have been afflicted, that I might know how to speak a word in season to one that is weary."

* * *

"Of two evils, choose neither."

* * *

"Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom."

Charles Spurgeon, 19th century English preacher

even if one gauges the age by their self-proclaimed beginning of what.. 1942.

they are just entering puberty..

in the big scheme of things, anyway..

In the Jonestown documentary that aired on TV a couple years ago, one of the people commented (I'm paraphrasing) that no one joins a group they already know to be a cult.
They say that there's a perfect chord
That David played and it pleased The Lord.
But, you don't really care for music,
Do you?
