  1. TWI smells aye? I would have to say the smell of cheap coffee is the most prevalent as someone mentioned previously. Also the inside of tents during ROA. By the way the only thing I really enjoyed about TWI was ROA.
  2. You might want to consider this. Way doctrine taught us every problem in the world was caused by a devil spirit(s). So if all these issues with corps were brought to light then the corps must be infilitrated by devil spirits right? Well then VP and leaders simply buried everything that came out. As far as rank and file were concerned everything was just peachy. That was the game plan...keep rank and file Way taxpayers fat, dumb and happy.
  3. Tom S, If you like Risk you would probably like the Medieval Total War games. www.totalwar.com . It's basically an elaborate Risk game for the computer.
  4. Steve L, thanks for the info about D&D. Your post brought back memories of my early teen years during which I played many many hours of D&D with friends. Then news of the college student going off the deep end while playing D&D and commiting suicide prompted parents to confiscate their D&D books, dice, etc including mine. It seems TWI came out with news of D&D being debil spurt influenced about the same time of the news of the suicide. I never knew one of the developers was associated with TWI. Quite an eye opener.
  5. Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy! I've wondered about this 666 number for a long time but it finally hit me a couple years ago after I remembered reading about 666 in the Numbers in Scripture book. The answer is so obvious but our imaginations, movies, and books etc have obscured what the number really means which isn't so diabolical in and of itself. Look at these Roman Numerals: I=1 V=5 X=10 L=50 C=100 D=500 Add them all together and you get 666 . M which represents 1000 wasn't used until later scholars argue. Anyway if you read about the beasts in Daniel and Revelation there are a lot of similarites between them. No doubt they are symbolic of the Roman Empire. Some people think the beast in Revelation 17 is a revived Roman Empire yet to come and some are preterists who believe it's referring to the original Roman Empire. Rev 17:18" The woman which though sawest is that great city which ruleth over the kings of the earth." Who ruled over the kings of the earth at that time John received the revelation? Rome.
  6. I got chewed out for not dating enough ...I guess I was like the geeky kid in high school who never got any. I think the real abuse was aimed toward the females , but I can understand how devastating it was on the husbands and boyfriends etc of the victims. After reading Galens post, it does remind me that men were encouraged to be promiscuous to a certain degree. The teenagers bought that message hook, line and sinker, which caused many problems in my opinion.
  7. No research dept? That doesn't surprise me. They got their copyrighted products, why mess that up with a discovery? Something interesting I learned recently is that there are other books mentioned in ancient manuscripts that could have been included in the new testament but weren't for whatever reasons the council of Nicea deemed appropriate. There are true researchers right now trying to find these books or references to these books. What a farce for TWI to claim we have everything, and need no more research.
