  4. seth, you know that i have been where you are. sometimes i still get down but much less often and i dont sink near as deep as i did once. i am glad your on meds and seeing a therapist. both have been of great help to me. the one thing that i would like for you to remember is that when you get to the other side, that there is still a lot of joy to be had in this life...so the struggle is indeed worthwhile. namaste, robin
  5. 30 years to be exact. we have gotta get together, we live only a couple of hours from each other...robin.

  7. hope, i suppose the short answer to your question is no, i do not always follow the rules. i routinely drive 5-10 miles per hour over the speed limit because i know that is what the speed limit really is suppose to be. incidentally, i haven't got a ticket in over 5 years. ofcourse, when you ask a question that contains always or never it usually precludes an honest person answering affirmatively. for all my shortcomings and human frailties, i would hope that i am an honest person. i think the larger question for me is am i living my life ethically-which for me means am i being true to core values and principles. you know, the ideals that are at the heart of all religions...humility, compassion, justice, forgiveness and integrity. i find by living by those ideals that i have no problems with authority. however, i am also aware that we are a much more just society today because some brave people violated the rules and even laws of their day because those laws were in conflict with their conscience. the signers of the declaration of independence, henry david thoreau, rosa parks, martin luther king are just a few examples of people who were willing to endure the cosequences or their actions with a view toward bringing about true justice. robin
  8. bob, sorry for the mistake. john lynn is with ces. robin (feeling like rosanne anna danna...never mind)
  9. bob, you said that cff says that that they are no different from any other group. however, the head honcho john lynn in an e-mail to me said that he believed that there was no biblically authentic teaching outside of cff. So, ummm what gives? It seems to me that it was this right doctrine exclusivity that got us in a pickle in the first place with twi. robin
  10. prozac corrects the problem of seratonin (a neurotransmitter) uptake in my brain. since my brain does not either produce enough seratonin or doesn't utilize it efficiently, i encounter memory deficit problems, irratibility, anxiety and depression. prozac simply restores the balance. there is a world of difference between taking a medication prescribed and overseen by a health professional that helps one lead a more productive and fulfilled life and self medicating oneself to short circuit and instantly access the brain's "euphoria zone."
