Oh, things like a couple of our elder corps whose partners were having an affair,caught out 'doing it' in the sauna on campus.When the wife of one of them went to see leadership, SHE was threatened with being thrown off campus!!

Because his parents were on staff at H.Q. Another single mom in-res with her daughter being caught in bed naked with her naked daughter AND her daughters friend.

This was again, whitewashed over, by leadership.

Other things as well,Selina and I understood that people can be weird but to 'gloss it over'

we believed to be very wrong.

Chasufarley, I'm pretty much same mode of your thinking.If he had lived longer he would have had some major apologizing to do, but he may have very well done so, no-one knows.

Coming from a semi dry country what we LOVED was approaching winter with the falling snow, the red and green tartan decorations, the red and green little hard candy pieces and just the, the, the..Christmassy smells!!

Hi Mike K and bless you.Yes, people need to hear enough of us to believe how 'devilish' a lot of TWI's actions are.I had two guys (one was my brother in law) walk into MY house and physically assault me in front of my family!!.

What they are trying to do is discourage us from any type of moving Gods' Word, but we keep going!!

Next to fear as a Christians greatest enemy would have to be discouragement and the Adversary sure has no shortage of 'discouragers' to send our way.

Hi Sharon, what I said about the breeding of the red heifers, sacrificial instruments etc.. was only a joke..IF what I watched on the tape was a joke (which I don't think it was.

The video tape was one of a set of six about things Biblical (made for t.v.)

Selina and I didn't.That 'ol pickle jar' seemed to be visiting us again.

To cut a long story short,we came home one night,saw the boy with his friends waiting around a corner in a car for her to sneak out.

Josh my oldest boy and myself went out with a golf club.Never saw them again.

My daughter got some 'correction'.I made her sit in a chair for an hour sobbing her eyes out.( this cut my heart too o.k. )

She hated Selina & myself for about three days and then got over it.

Now married to an awesome young man and they have a gorgeous 2 y.o.

Try and reason with a 14 y.o. who is bedazzled by an older sleazebag ?

Anyway, there are new 'lurkers', some who have contacted me but still don't feel comfortable posting on GSC yet, in fact some of them are s***-scared of the Waygb.

I for one will continue to hold a torch as long as the leadership I know are still actively and aggressively recruiting.

Garth, I did not say this situation, incident, was 'devilish' because none of us know the circumstances involved.What I was referring to was 'the push' again of governments to impose 'their will' on 'the majority' of citzens who do not get a say in the matter.'The Push' for example of outlawing a parents right to exercize 'reasonable'discipline of their own children.

This particular push comes directly from the United Nations and I don't believe hardly anything good ever comes out of that instituition.And I certainly was not including special need kids(of whom I am very familiar with.)

Now this sort of thing tends to give me the sh**s.In New Zealand and Australia there is a BIG push from time to time by 'the experts'to have smacking of children outlawed.

Every now and then a parent using way over the top excessive force is paraded through the media to support their claim that it is abuse.

The problem with the attempt to ban any reasonable force used to discipline a child is that these ( i'm sorry but here I go...) limp wristed, handkerchief wringing, sandal wearing, often childless themselves, socialist busybodies also want to make the parents RESPONSILBLE for their childrens' behavior !!!( including legally)

I honestly believe this whole scenario is as develish as hell.

The average, majority of mainstream parents love their kids to bits and that includes loving them enough to give them a smack on the bum every now and then to help show them what is the norm in society(whatever that friggin means these days).

I have newspaper clippings that show the media applauding authorities for banning corporal punishment in schools in New Zealand a few years back and a newspaper clipping from THE SAME PAPER virtually a year later bemoaning the fact of increased violence in schools coupled with record suspensions.Thats right, they just send the kids home for Dad and Mom to deal with, thats right, poor Dad and or Mom who have to plead or beg or 'negotiate' with little Johnny to be a good boy!!

Yeah, very scary, like one lady staying in a 'way home' who occasianly preferred not to eat what had been prepared for dinner(late middle-aged).The woman 'running' the way home once forced her to eat hot chillies whilst yelling and screaming at her(this woman had never been able to stomach even mild chillies).

My cousin at one point staying in a 'way home' remembers the country co-ordinator dropping off one of the girls living there sometimes about 2 o'clock in the morning after his wife had earlier been calling to see if he had been around !When my cousin Tre**r pretended to have got up to go to the bathroom and 'bumped into' the both of them the country co-ordinator blurted out "uh er oh uh Chr*****na ran out of petrol(gas) in her car!!

BTW,these are recent occurences not things that happened a decade ago.

Selina and I went light bearers in Kalamazoo and hoho relo in Fort Wayne.We met up with Lenny and spent time with Sandra Carver and also the Polios, hope everything panned out well for them all.
