Lone Wolf-You're not the only one, I also struggled with this false doctrine teaching as well. I found out that these teachings were meant as scare tactics to try keep us brainwashed and in the so called "household". I also got very scared as well, and also found out that I had a hard time finding a peaceful relationship as well. I invented a saying though that has really helped me recover from this false doctrine teaching: "Greater is he(Jesus Christ) that is in me, than the Way ministry which is in this world"

It seems as though, the mark and avoid method employed by the TWI has finally caught up with them and backfired on them.

What convinced me that TWI was the real deal was my extended Lapse of Stupidity for about a 1 1/2 years Still can't explain why I couldn't see it sooner, instead of wasting over an entire year to find out that TWI was a cult

I officially took PFAL in the Spring of 1993. Was ready to go WOW in 1994, but decided against it when I got to the ROA in August of 1994. Certain Events occured with other "believers" at that time, who I made friends with , were severly chastised by the local leadership. As time got closer to the ROA in 1994, LCM seemed to get more and more off his rocker, and I started to question whether or not some of his teachings lined up with the word. I found out that some of the things taught by LCM were not even biblical, so I started to ignore him, and started to just read the Bible itself. I was also chastised by local leadership for not listening to LCM. When I showed the word to the local leadership, they said I was possessed and that I should always listen to LCM. It didn't take me long to realize that the TWI was more intrested in swearing allegiance to their MOG, and only used the bible as a convienence, when it seeemed to fit in with their ideology of a Christian. This came crystal clear at the ROA in 1994, when there were some teachings in the big tent. Although some of the teachings I still believe in(amazingly, there are some accurate teachings), there were some glaring differences in how they dealt with some people. EX: The Bible teaches us to forgive and to pray for others, even those who are our enemies TWI's mark and avoid method of ex-followers is not forgiveness, I don't know of any current way followers that would admit or acutally have prayed for any ex-members I officially lef the TWI in September of 1994, soon after the ROA I am thankful that my daughter (who I had after I left the TWI) will not have to go through the same B.S. that I went through with the TWI. I am also thankful that I only wasted about 1 1/2 years of my life with the TWI and not a second longer

Hi Truebelief, My name is Chris, I am an A+ Certified Computer Technician. Regarding your free antispyware and virus programs, you already have the best free antivirus and spyware on your computer. I have used those programs in the past and they do an adequate job, however, if you decide you would like to pay in the future, I highly recommend EZ Armor (Suite of Firewall and Antivirus.) I also highly recommend E-trust Pest Patrol. Both of these programs are very good and will eliminate the need for an adware scanner as your firewall will blick any unwanted adware and most spyware This is my second year with EZ Armor and Etrust Pest Patrol, and I will be renewing my subscription again at the end of the calendar year. As far as eliminating all the index.dat files: Here is how to do it manually(which might be easier) In Windows XP Click Start Click Search Click All files and folders on the left hand side of the screen Type in index.dat Click Search. This process will give you all the occurences of index.dat From this screen , you will be able to delete all the index.dat occurences Click and drag down the list with your mouse to higlight all the occurences of index.dat Make sure to hold down the shift key when you press delete to permanently delete all of the occurences, otherwise it will go to the recycle bin. I am not up on the prices of laptops at this moment, but if you would like I can ask some contacts I have and see what kind of prices are out there and/or the best brands to purchase. I consider a reliable PC and/or laptop as one I don't have to repair very often. I built my own PC about 2 years agao, and I have not had any major hardware problems with it at all.
