Have you guys seen this show??? It's a hoot! The premise is that some dude from VH1 (whose name escapes me now) tracks down former members of famous rock bands from the '80's and reunites them for a one night only concert.

Last weeks was Dramarama...they all had ''normal'' jobs-one guy was in Wayne, NJ driving a front end loader for a living, the rest still live in LA. The band started out in Wayne, btw.

Quite a reminder of how fame can fade and how fast all those millions could vanish.

Kinda cool to see the bands I use to listen to as a teenager could still jam 20 years after the breakup.

Anyone have a band they would like to see play again just once?

Raf and all...

During Aileen Wuornos reign of terror, we lived in Ocala, Fl. I remember the Ocala Star Banner headlines announcing another man dead from the serial killer on SR 40, by the truck stops.

Charlize Theron makes an amazing transformation to ''Lee'' Wuornos, it's creepy, she looks so much like her. My husband, Mr. Freaky, remembers her coming in to a Kwik King he used to work at and buying beer for her and her girlfriend. Should be interesting to see.

I can't wait to see it either...personally I think Mel Gibson is a brilliant actor/director. I'm excited to see his take on the crucifiction. And I have to say it takes some rather large cajones to lay your career on the line like that. Kudos to him!

And yes, Al...alot of Jewish organizations are upset because they think it will portray the Jews as barbaric. I disagree, if it's factual, any person with a brain will realize that it has no reflection on today's Jewish religion.

I won't pay my 7 bucks to see Cold Mountain. Supposedly it takes place here in Appalachia during the Civil War, but the ''powers that be'' ie: the producers felt that it would be cheaper to film in Romania or Poland (somewhere over there) than it would be to put the hundreds upon hundreds of deserving mountain folk to work. Shameful, just my 2 cents.
