Of course, Lifted. 14 is a difficult age, we have one too. Praying.

Everyone in my house (and that's 8 people) are battling a stomach flu. We all had flu shots but apparently this strain is really nasty. Please pray that this thing is gone soon. With God all things are possible! Thanks in advance guys!

I remember being told that I would have to give up all my Springsteen stuff because of the line in ''Born to Run'' which talks about the town being a ''suicide trap''.

I also remember a close friend giving up listening to anything by Stevie Nicks because her production company is called ''Welsh Witch''.

Just another control method? Anybody else have any similar experiences?

Same here Steve-o...and it would have to be Russell Stover's chocolate. Also, the only good way to eat Peeps in to punch a hole in the package and let them get stale for a few days...yummm.

I always liked those chocolate egges (I think the were Russell Stover too...) that you could slice. They had caramel and fudge and nuts in them...they were really good.

What does God/Jesus feel like???

When I am grieving I feel I can crawl up in His lap and cry on His shoulder...

When I am joyful I feel Him smiling and laughing at my goofiness

He feels like He has an incredible sense of humor...I mean look a the Platypus! That's one funny lookin' critter!

When I have hurt Him, He feels silent and distant to me...(that may be my own perception, however...)

When I'm alone and praying and worshipping Him, He feels warm and cozy...

We used to live in Ocala...Mr. Freaky was raised in the Ocala National Forest...me, I'm from Jersey so I kinda hated not having any change of seasons there.

Still miss Daytona especially Bike Week, and Juniper Springs...maybe I'll get down there this summer...hubby's brothers still live there.
