  1. You shouldn't have to use the words of a white supremacist to make your point. It's pretty safe to say that if Pat Buchanan has an opinion on something, the exact opposite is most likely the truth. Let me post something he wrote in his book:

So there's no point in you posting lies from an openly racist thug like Buchanan, and if you find yourself agreeing with him, you should probably stop, take a step back, and consider exactly where you went wrong.

Spoken like a true libTARD! Why is Buchanan any more a thug than Obama, HITLERy or even YOU, for that matter? Why is their predjudice or your predjudice any more valid than his?

There is NOTHING on God's green earth more intolerant than an American liberal, and you just proved that with your statement. You need to consider where YOU went wrong.

  2. Rottie...

I always enjoy your jokes and this one was REALLY, REALLY lame deserving 4 crutches.

Rumrunner's joke, however, almost went of the lame scale and deserves a FULL 5 CRUTCHES!

Don't let this small defeat stop you from posting your jokes, tho...4 crutches is quite a good accomplishment which few can achieve.

Rummy may have just gotten lucky on this 'un.

    03/17/2008: "Eco-Terrorism On Orcas"

”I did it to punish the rich white people of Orcas Island and make them pay for the death of the whales and the depletion of the rain forests” -Mondragon

Gabriel Thomas Mondragon, 29 years old, who recently arrived from New Mexico, explained to Sheriff’s Deputies that in an attempt to make the people on Orcas “suffer just like the whales and trees”, he attempted to use a tree limbing saw -on a metal pole- to cut through a 69,000 volt power line.

According to the sheriff’s report, the man, identified as Gabriel Mondragon, also stated he wanted to protest “the death of Luna the whale and the destruction of the rain forest.”

Being well informed on the power of high voltage power lines, Mondragon cleverly put on several pair of latex dish washing gloves to isolate him from electrocution, and proceeded to touch saw to power line.

Mondragon was found laying on his back some distance from the line, his pants had been on fire, where they had burned away from his hips down. His gloves had partially melted, and he had “first, second and third degree burns’ on various parts of his body. He was, in short, lucky to be alive. He now has some medical and legal problems to deal with, including some interest in his actions by the FBI.

An OPALCO lineman who responded to the outage was on site at the substation within twenty minutes and called the sheriff’s office for an aid car. The sheriff’s office and fire department arrived with aid within ten minutes.

The substation is surrounded by a barbwire topped fence, so Mondragon first tried to reach the power line by standing on a ladder. When that failed to get him close enough to be electrocuted, he went over the fence, and was then was able to reach a power line.

Thousands of people on parts of Orcas and Shaw only experienced a temporary loss of electrical power as a result Mondragon’s action, while Mondragon was flow off to Harborview Hospital in Seattle via AirLift Northwest, for treatment of what are being called serious injuries..

The incident has been reported to the FBI, and Sheriff Bill Cumming said County Prosecutor Randy Gaylord will determine what, if any, charges may be pending, but at the least he may be charged with trespass. Gaylord said he would review the on-scene reports prior to making a determination of what appropriate charges may be.

OPALCO General Manager Randy Cornelius said he was required to notify the FBI of the incident, but that he had no information on any of the specifics of the case.

Cumming said because the crime involved a utility, the FBI has jurisdiction to enter the case. Given Mondragon’s statements, it seems likely he may also face additional charges related to “eco-terrorism”. The FBI defines eco-terrorism as “acts of violence in protest of harm to animals or to the environment, ” and it “is the United States' No.1 terrorism threat from inside its own borders.”

The County Council met this morning for their normal Monday morning work session, and Councilman Bob Myhr, who also is a siting board member of OPALCO, briefed the Council on the incident. Chairman Howard Rosenfeld said he was sure the OPALCO facilities are “not hardened against this type of thing, and never will be; so we need to stop alienating our own people.”

“This tragic incident underlines the importance of public education about the dangers of power lines and electrical safety, “ stated OPALCO General Manager, Randy Cornelius. “I’m proud of how quickly and efficiently our linemen and emergency services responded; I’m grateful for the professionalism of the law enforcement and fire service personnel who responded and took control of the scene—and am thankful that no lives were lost. Our thoughts are with the family of the young man that was injured.”

Power was restored to most of the island by 11:30 p.m. Some areas were without power until noon Sunday.

OPALCO is a member-owned cooperative electrical utility serving more than 10,000 islanders in San Juan County. OPALCO provides mostly renewable electricity that is 97% greenhouse-gas free and is predominately generated by hydro-electric plants.

  5. Because a significant percentage of the population is not responsible enough to deal with community property and child support issues without state intervention?

Okay, the poor benighted people are far too irresponsible to live our lives without the benefit of our benevolent and all wise bureaucratic overseers.

We mustn't have the 'irresponsible' sheepies bleating when the wolves come to devour their young.

  6. And this little tidbit from Here

This casual dismissal reveals her antipathy toward marriage as an institution central to human life for millennia. But then, what does the wisdom of the ages have to do with her task of updating The Canadian Oxford Dictionary? Ms. Barber is a thoroughly modern woman--and an advocate of the homosexual agenda.

We know this because she chose to editorialize about the issue, explaining that the only reason anyone would object to her new gender-free definition of marriage is--you guessed it--"homophobia." Opponents of this new definition, she charged, "don't want to admit that gay people can have relationships that are just like their ideal heterosexual relationship." Clearly, Ms. Barber is not just concerned about words. She's out to change the world.

He, she, or in Barber's case, it who controls language controls thinking. All politically correct speech protocols (cultural Marxism) and "hate" speech rules and laws are designed to control the thinking of the people and ultimately society as a whole. Evidently, not many libtards or neocons ever read Orwell...or if they did, it went over their heads.

You'd think ex Way people would be keenly aware of that since language is such an important part of control, every cult has it's own nomenclature, phraseology and rhetoric. TWI was certainly no different. It had it's share of unique catch phrases and esoterica with the intent to control the thinking patterns of it's adherents while giving us the illusion of having unique and esoteric knowledge, when in truth, we had nothing.

This is an example of the state, as the ultimate cult, oppressing the people by disallowing free speech/free thought and now codifying it into law. It's all about control and shaping society by shaping peoples thinking patterns. this is just one of many reasons why the state has no business dictating terms to or for either side of this issue and staying out of the marriage business...as well as anything else concerning the individual's private choices.

  7. "...government should not be in the role of sanctioning ANY relationships, but then it would have to do away with any tax relief (if there is any) and do away with the current structure of SS benefits given to the surviving spouse...."

Not necessarily if the state is forced to recognize or acknowledge what the people sanction themselves. The people shouldn't seek permission (license) or legitimacy from the state to do what is a natural right. The state should merely acknowledge what the people decide to sanction to themselves, and administer such programs accordingly.

  8. It's interesting and very telling what the responses to my little post were. Quite accurate, too. These were perceptive replies.

I just wonder how differently the Declaration of Independence and subsequent Constitution would have been worded had Jefferson, Washington, Franklin etc. been indoctrinated and reared by King George's state funded and standardized systems (village) like the state uses today.

When the state presumes to manage the private lives of citizens and their progeny like that, whether it legitimizes "gay" marriage or deligitimizes it by codification, it's TYRANNY.

The people of California voted to delegitimize "gay" marriage and the court overturned that.

We have a dillemma where the coersive power of the state is being invoked to force one side or the other. The ultimate evil here is NOT "gay" marriage, nor is it the will of the people. It's the coersive power of the state.

  9. I thought this horse was dead, but it seems everyone feels a need to beat on it anyway.

I think most everyone is missing the real point here. Why must the state confer or withhold legitimacy to a practice that people have engaged in for thousands of years before the existence of the state and will continue for generations and generations after that state has fallen?

Why should the state have control over that which people do anyway? In a condition of total anarchy, people would pair off into exclusive unions and laisons and be happy with their choices, living their lives well without harming others.

Why does the state confer licenses to ANY marriage? Why is that necessary? Why should the state have anything to do with how private, individual citizens conduct their private, individual affairs?

Why is the state in the marriage business in the first place?

  10. Many of these show no direct correlation between the adherants beliefs and the calamity they supposedly suffered.

It also conveniently omits such superstitions as the laughable 'sensible gun control/registration will make you safer/reduce crime' myth, the global warming religion, government sponsored 'universal health care' and the ever fatal notion that governemt bureaucrats know what's best for raising and educating children.

  11. Happy birthday, you young whippersnapper!

How much is a non rez hunting license up there? What can I hunt with my .50 Hawken (muzzelloader) or would I need a .70?

I always wanted to hunt up there, but I find the cold very daunting.

  12. The usual...

Tomatoes (Roma and cherry), winter and summer squash, green peppers, jalapenos, cayenne, okra, cucumbers, beans, peas, beets, onions and tobacco.

I used to plant a lot of potatoes and corn but since I've cut way back on eating starches, I no longer plant them.

Herbs include rosemary, cilantro, stevia, thyme and cumin. Garlic grows wild here, which is why we've never had any vampires here in the Ozarks, so I don't mess with that.

  13. Admittedly, the PFAL class got lots of people interested in the Bible and made it live for them.

However, following the logic trail of PFAL, which I think VPW didn't plagiarize, but was his own invention and unique to him, that...

Jesus Christ, seated at the right hand of God and on this earth is in absentia,

ergo, no personal relationship with the Savior is necessary or even available, but rather a personal relationship to/with the self appointed 'man of God' via his chain of command

ergo, We must follow the Man of God (to whom this light was given exclusively) who was placed in His 'stead' while He (Jesus) was too busy doing Jesus things (and, of course, dictating to the MOG how to direct our lives),

And the name Jesus Christ reduced to a 'magic name' to be used to force God to be an errand boy for the MOG and his followers,

ergo, to do the will of the MOG is to do the will of God.

This IMHO was the ultimate (intentional) error and evil of PFAL and why it's wrong and dangerous.

I generally stay out of this stuff because I was never Corps or anything special in TWI, but that's my take on it, and why it's no longer useful to me.

All you Corps folks and people more involved than I are encouraged to tell me if my take is innacurate or wrong.

    I enjoyed Year2027's original concept.

  14. I live in the rainsoaked Ozark Mountains of Arkansas and know of no TWI presence. There's probably 2 or 3 down in Little Rock, but that's, most likely, about it.

TWI was pretty much unknown in these hills...hillbilly's have better sense than that.

I just know of one other exWay person, and I've never met her or her family. She lives somewhere in the nether regions of the Arkansas flatlands. I just know of them because she posts here.

You might write a letter to...

    The Teacher

    P.O. Box 328

    New Knoxville, Ohio

(I don't remember the zip code)

Maybe they can help you out.

  15. Hey shiftthis and all the other Simpering Sophist Sycophants of the Way,

    Is Rosie still there?

    Oh yeah?

Well, bud...your assertion that "all the bad leaders were driven out" just crumbled to dust (to coin a new phrase no one here has ever heard before).

Sorry bud, but it just don't wash.

  16. Can't? ... Or won't?

Maybe one thing we need to keep in mind is that sociopaths don't care about anybody else but themselves. ... Don't care. That is a (passive) act of will. They could care, ... but they don't. See, many of them (if not all of them) realize about the basic premise of "You live in a world with other people", but they just won't honor it. ... Because they just don't care.

That is, until they have a loaded gun stuck into their face, and the angry gun wielder is 1 microsecond shy from pulling the trigger, that is. <_< ... THEN they are fully cognizent that they live in a world with other people.

Them and child molesters, I just don't go with this crap of 'they have an illness!'. ... Yeah? Well, I got just the 'pill' to cure it.

    It's called a .44 caliber bullet.

    WOW Garth!

That's along the lines of something I'd say. It certainly reflects my thinking.

    Let's go have a beer....on me.

  17. And now we've got a whole new Viet Nam for our kids to enjoy. Isn't that just special?

There's one significant difference, George. This time, there's no forced conscription i.e. draft.

How long do you s'pose that's gonna last?

Until that changes, at least the kids can enjoy it from a distance.

Well I don't know who made anyone an expert, but I did know one Afghan, totally brainless dog. I only met one though, in all fairness. I mean, not that I couldn't love one....

Although I always thought the Cocker Spaniel was one of the dumbest, I know from experience that the VERY dumbest dogs are the dogs that belong to me.

Akela (aka Dogzilla), the half wolf half malamute mix, HAS to take the prize, tho. After a fun time playing in yesterdays record rainfall and swimming in the ensuing flood waters, he decided to fight with the tree that was cut down by the high winds....in the lightning, of course.

    What a dog!
