    Song of the moment

During this divisive crazy political season, there is one thing that unites every politician, in fact this could be the theme song of every one of them: I want you to want me, I need you to need me, I'd love you to love me, I'm begging you to beg me... Cheap Trick - "I Want You to Want Me" <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HBQ9dm7zaQU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  16. The song is <a href="http://youtu.be/h2uLuYrCyB8">"So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star."</a> If you follow the above link (sorry, no embed allowed), you'll find Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers rocking the song. If you listen closely, during the guitar solo there's a short rift (about 2:19) that's quite similar to "Eight Miles High," a homage, if you will, to The Byrds, who originally wrote and recorded the song. Here's a new one: Ride, take a free ride Take my place Have my seat It's for free.
  17. Sudden Impact is correct. Take it away....
  18. HWTB - That's the right character - Harry Callahan - but he said it in only one movie. Which movie was it? I'll even give you a hint: It wasn't the first one entitled Dirty Harry.
  19. Here's more: Just get an electric guitar Then take some time And learn how to play And with your hair swung right And your pants too tight It's gonna be all right Then it's time to go downtown Where the agent man won't let you down
  20. Here's the first two lines: Let me tell you how it will be Here's one for you, nineteen for me
  21. I'm going to change this up and use the rest of the one liners from the above movie in the other movie thread. Here's a new one: Go ahead, make my day.
  22. Here's another clue: A character named Christmas Snow.
  23. That would Bobby Dylan, and U2, and Eric Clapton, and Guns N' Roses, and..... "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" New One: Let me tell you how it will be
  24. "Born on the Bayou" - CCR New One: Just get an electric guitar Then take some time And learn how to play And with your hair swung right
  25. I knew this was Monty Python but could not for the live of me remember the name of the movie (frustrating)...then after simmering in the subconscious for awhile - it came to me... Monty Python and the Holy Grail New One: I always believed that the mind is the best weapon.
