    In memory of <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/obit/story/2012-03-28/earl-scruggs-banjo-legend-bluegrass-dies/53841194/1"> Earl Scruggs, </a> who passed today at the age of 88. One of the finest banjo pickers in the US and a Country Music Hall of Famer. "Salty Dog" is one of my favorites: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/y-hbKf5OwEI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The <a href=" http://youtu.be/A51yM6fjnAE">documentary film </a> on bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs; it's about an hour and half and features performances by Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Bill Monroe, Doc Watson, and more.
